1) He's incredibly thoughtful. He'll remember that I need something from the store and buy it when I've forgotten myself that I needed it.

He takes *forever* when he cooks in the kitchen. Everything needs to be diced perfectly, so a recipe that should only take 20 minutes to make takes 1.5 hours

2) Liver. Or capers.

3) Dying young

4) People who smack their food when they eat

5) Margarita

6) Too many to pick from

7) Rudolph. Carol of the Bells

8) I like to try out different recipes I think he'll like. I love it when he cooks comfort foods (chicken parm, risotto, etc.)

9) My mom is buying us a stand mixer. Our best friends from college went off registry and upgraded our pots and pans to reallly, really, ridiculously good All Clad pans. I had looked longingly at them when making our registry, but neither of us felt comfortable asking our friends and family to spend so much on a few pans. And our nice sheets from BBB.

He is so pessimistic! It DRIVES me sometimes.

I lurves that he knows exactly what to do to make me smile...even if I'm in tears.

Avacados. I hate them.

Losing someone I love.

4) Biggest pet peeve(s)?
Work. HA! Bad drivers. aka people that don't signal, merge without looking, talk on their cell while driving, etc.

Depends on which ladies I'm with. Generally a Keith's (Nova Scotian made beer) or if I'm feeling fancy a strawberry margarita. Or vodka lime.

6) Knottie who's wedding you'd most like to crash?
Well I wanted to crash Mutely's but that's done. Next on my list was Tafft, Kat and Hetshup but they're done...so next on my list is YOU. Oceana I'm crashing your vintage nautical wedding. I'll even come early and you can make my DIY for you;)

7) Favorite holiday movie and song?
Song = Snoopy vs the Red Baron. wicked.

Movie = nothing. I don't like Christmas movies...they're too heart warming. Barf.

I love cooking. My fav. is making a big roast dinner or something like that. With the dessert and everything.

He doesn't really cook but he makes a mean pancake;)

He drives like a NASCAR driver! He always knows just what to do in every situation.

Pretty boring around here this morning, so i'll play along!

1) What is one thing about your SO that absolutely drives you nuts, and one thing that you absolutely love? Nuts = he can be pretty stubborn sometimes, Love = he is very thoughtful and does little things for me all the time.

2) Name a food you absolutely cannot stand. FISH! Ewwww, gross. (Plugs nose and runs away)

3) What's your biggest fear(s)? Losing my grandpa before he gets the chance to walk me down the isle. Regretting not talking to my dad later in life.

4) Biggest pet peeve(s)? Having a smoker sitting next to me on the train, people who listen to their ipods WAY too loud, any time BF says "just relax".

5) You're going to the bar with your girlfriends...what are you ordering?Appletini of course!

6) Knottie who's wedding you'd most like to crash? I don't know anyone on here that well yet...but getting there.

7) Favorite holiday movie and song? Movie = Elf! Thinking about seeing the musical in NY this year too. I love the entire Mariah Carey Christmas album...or 'Mary Did You Know' by Amy Grant.

8) Favorite thing to cook for your SO? Favorite thing he/she cooks for you? I love to cook, so just about anything really. He LOVES my pot-roasted meatloaf though. BF doesn't really cook - but anything he does on the grill is AWESOMELY DELICIOUS!

-When he tells me to "remember this number". Not ONCE has he ever asked me what the number was.
-If he's sleeping and I start to rub his back, he'll make the cutest smile.

Water chestnuts. I cannot stand the way they sound.

Losing a loved one.

people who go under the speed limit on the free way, Detroit drivers, people who think that Facebook is their own personal loud speaker...or just people in general

1) What is one thing about your SO that absolutely drives you nuts, and one thing that you absolutely love?

He has a lovely habit of leaving clothes on the floor. And then he says, "but those were clean" when I throw them in his hamper. Um, hang the clean ones over the edge of the bed, and throw the dirty ones in the hamper. Anything on the floor = dirty in Oceanaland.

He tends to fall asleep before me most nights (I'm a night owl, he's an early bird) - however, whenever I finally make it in to bed, he always wakes up just enough to give me a half asleep kiss and snuggle. It's pretty endearing.

2) Name a food you absolutely cannot stand.

Most veggies. I have a horrible gag reflex when it comes to veggies. Just the smell of mashed potatoes makes me nauseous.

3) What's your biggest fear(s)?

Spiders, bugs, guns, tight spaces where I can't see an exit. The latter two kind of go hand in hand.

4) Biggest pet peeve(s)?

Any sort of discrimination/ignorance towards others (homophobia, racism, bigotry, etc.), lack of maturity, arrogance, inability to take a joke, ultra-anything.

5) You're going to the bar with your girlfriends...what are you ordering?

Usually Captain and Diet with a slice of lime, or Vodka & Sugar Free Red Bull. Nom nom nom.

6) Knottie who's wedding you'd most like to crash?

Oh, what I would have given to be a fly on the wall at Kat's...

7) Favorite holiday movie and song?

Movie - Charlie Brown Christmas, Love Actually
Song - Otis Redding's "White Christmas" and Nat King Cole's "Christmas Song"

8) Favorite thing to cook for your SO? Favorite thing he/she cooks for you?

I make him a big batch of turkey and bean chili once a week that he'll eat for lunches that he loves. I also make a broiled honey spice chicken that he goes crazy for.

He makes an amazing steak. Teriyaki or chimmichurri skirt steak, or BBQ rubbed strips are probably my favorite of his.

9) Three things off your registry that you hope you get (engageds) / three things off your registry that you're so glad you got (marrieds)? Not engaged - three wishlist items will do.

a) Kitchenaid Stand Mixer - with all the baking I do, that thing would be a godsend. b) New Pots, Pans, Baking Dishes - the ones we have now are about 8-10 years old and are practically falling apart. c) Pot & Pan rack. We registered for a wall one so we can hang our stuff - will keep our lifetime warranty intact, and will open up a ton of space in our cabinets.

1) What is one thing about your SO that absolutely drives you nuts, and one thing that you absolutely love?
He's an aggressive driver, and very aggitated while driving somewhere.

I love the way he holds me in the middle of the night. If I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and go back to bed, he'll immediately reach out and find me, pull me against him and nuzzle my neck while mumbling things in his sleep (yep, he's dead asleep) like, "Where'd you go? You belong here." When we wake up in the morning, the first thing he does is cuddle. I love it!

2) Name a food you absolutely cannot stand.
Fatty meat. I hate meat fat - so ribs or chicken wings that are fatty.

3) What's your biggest fear(s)?
Driving next to 18-wheelers on the highway, especially when they're on one side and I have either a car or a rail on the other, so I have no where to go if they swerve. Scares the beejezus out of me! I speed right by them.

4) Biggest pet peeve(s)?
Drivers in my parking garage at work - seriously, it can DOUBLE my commute in the morning trying to get up to the 5th floor to park!

5) You're going to the bar with your girlfriends...what are you ordering?
Beer - ideally something microbrew, but I'm happy with Stella, Peroni, Sam Adams. There is no way I'll be caught dead with a Bud Light - hate that stuff!

6) Knottie who's wedding you'd most like to crash?
Ana - it sounds beautiful!

7) Favorite holiday movie and song?
A Christmas Story, "Baby It's Cold Outside"

Chicken piccatta - he eats it by the bucket! I just love cooking for him in general, though. He makes amazing french toast.

I just got a new set of pots and pans from my Mom - Cuisinart Stainless Steel. *swoon* I love them! I want a food processer and a juicer next.

1) What is one thing about your SO that absolutely drives you nuts, and one thing that you absolutely love?
I hate how he chews...loudest chewer ever. I have to concentrate on not listening to him when he eats pasta or pizza.

I love how he's not afraid to be affectionate or loving or mushy. He has a tendency to make me feel really special.

2) Name a food you absolutely cannot stand.
Brusselsprouts. I just don't like them.

3) What's your biggest fear(s)?
Lately: that I won't be able to have kids. One doctor suggested I might have PCOS, but there wasn't much to back up that claim. It still puts that bug in your ear that there might be something wrong though.

4) Biggest pet peeve(s)?
When people interrupt me when I'm trying to say something important, and when people don't do what they say they will.

5) You're going to the bar with your girlfriends...what are you ordering?
What's on special? If I'm not feeling thrifty I might order a whiskey sour or white russian. If I'm not wanting to spend a lot of money, a pint of whatever beer is cheap that night.

No clue...I don't think I'm on here enough.

7) Favorite holiday movie and song?
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, because I like the dentist elf. And favorite song: Silent Night. I'm not religious but I think it's a really pretty song.

I don't have one favorite I like to cook, my favorite things to cook are new things though. He likes when I make pasta, because he's weird and his diet consists 98% of pasta.

I'm not engaged, and haven't thought about a registry, so this is a general wish list. 1. Black Louboutin pumps (completely outlandish but a girl can dream right?) 2. My own office (I hate working in a fishbowl.) 3. A puppy.

Uhhh...I have never thought about this before. I would say the Lock Ness Monster.

It drive me nuts that he when he cleans he does them aallllllmost to the end but doesn't finish. i.e. he will clean the floors but leave the mop bucket with water in it out. GAH. But I LOVE that he agrees its fair for us both to do the cleaning.

2) Name a food you absolutely cannot stand.
shrimp. YECH.

3) What's your biggest fear(s)?

Dieing at a young age. And tornados. And forest fires. And the grates on the bottom of the pool. Oh yeah, and stalkers....had one too many of those.

Tourists in Chicago who don't know how to drive.

I LOVE The Christmas Story and also Home Alone. And my love of Christmas songs is huge, so I break it down into two categories: religious and non religious. It Came Upon a Midnight Clear for religious and Silver Bells for non religious. LOVE.

8) Favorite thing to cook for your SO? Favorite thing he/she cooks for you?

I like to get creative and try new things for FI. But I really like it when I know hes going to love it....i.e. Carbonara. His specialty is chicken parmesan. He made it the night he proposed to me, so his mom is making it for our rehearsal dinner.

I am head over heels in love with my red kitchen aid stand mixer! I was so surprised when my aunts all pitched in to get it for me for my shower! I can't wait to use it!

1) What is one thing about your SO that absolutely drives you nuts, and one thing that you absolutely love? He can be sooo moody sometimes and he doesn't really want to talk when he's like that. I love that he's so kind and sweet. It surprises me sometimes and I always think, "Wow. I'm the luckiest girl on earth."

2) Name a food you absolutely cannot stand. Green Beans

3) What's your biggest fear(s)? Snakes and losing someone I love.

4) Biggest pet peeve(s)?Mouth sounds (smacking lips, gross watery sounds...eww. So gross)

I like vacuums, so I hope I get a really nice one. Money for a bed would be awesome ( I would love a nice big one). Lastly, a really nice mirror (my grandma has a beautiful mirror in her living room, I'm not really sure if that's something you would ask for but I would like something like that in my house.)

Something worth looking into - taking a cooking class as an extracurricular, or checking out some local cooking classes at local grocery stores or home stores. When I went away to school, I didn't know how to make much beyond Easy Mac and Ramen Noodles. I took a few free cooking classes as a local grocery store (Albertsons and Whole Foods), and it really got me into cooking and gave me some basic techniques/skills to build on. :)

He remembers absolutely NOTHING, appts, things that need to get done, etc. I call and go, when's your doc appointment today? He goes, "OH CRAP! How did you remember?"

I love when we lay on the couch and he puts his arm up and ask if I want my spot (laying my head on his chest...) his arm around me. Oh... OF COURSE I DO!

Italian sausage with Peppers, It was the first meal he said he LOVES. He's making me a meal for the first time this weekend. We'll see how it goes and what he makes!

I haven't looked at any here. Bec from SB looks like she had the most fun reception, and Seshat from SB had a really neat blanket ceremony I would have loved to watch.

Kenny Rogers Christmas album is my fave. I listen to it Thanksgiving to New Years, then I MAKE myself put it away.

Spicy White Bean Chili.

1) What is one thing about your SO that absolutely drives you nuts, and one thing that you absolutely love?
He never learned how to clean up after himself, and has a very high tolerance for clutter. It's just about the only thing we argue about.

He is incredibly supportive, caring, and considerate (about everything but housework, and even that sometimes). I honestly don't know what I would do without him right now as I'm going through being laid off and trying to find a new job. I'm pretty much a wreck even with his support, so...I'm scared to think what I'd be like without it.

2) Name a food you absolutely cannot stand.
Most fruit. And I'm with Cate - any kind of really fatty meat is gross. I trim all my meat dishes until there's practically nothing left, and my bacon has to be almost burnt before I'll eat it.

3) What's your biggest fear(s)?
Failure. Right now, failure in finding a job. But in general, I'm just always scared I'm going to fail in what I'm trying to accomplish at that moment, even though I've never failed with anything other than relationships that needed to end anyway.

4) Biggest pet peeve(s)?
Idiots.

5) You're going to the bar with your girlfriends...what are you ordering?
Either water or Crown and Diet Coke. Depends on whether I'm interested in drinking or not. Sometimes I'll also go for a Long Island Iced Tea.

Upcoming? Oceana's or Ana's. Past? Mutley's or Kat's, though to crash Kat's I would've missed mine, haha!

Breakfast foods! He doesn't really cook...he makes pasta on occasion, and it's generally pretty good. I'm just not a pasta fan, and since that's the only thing he cooks...well, he doesn't cook often. ;-)

My All-Clad pots and pans. We use them literally every day. I'm also really happy about our china, and plan to use it on Sunday to surprise DH for a little "hey, we've been married 1/4 of a year already!" dinner. Everything "new" that we got to replace things that needed to be replaced, but most especially dishes, sheets, and towels.

I love Unicorns and he loves Dragons. We've already started thinking about the future nursery and trying to figure out how to incorporate both.

1) What is one thing about your SO that absolutely drives you nuts, and one thing that you absolutely love?
It drives me nuts that he uses the wrong word in a sentence ALL the time. As a teacher I constantly correct him (which is terrible) but it's so annoying.

I absolutely love all the little things he does without thinking to make me happy. Like laying out my medication and a glass of water next to the bed every night or having a glass of wine ready for me when I get home.

2) Name a food you absolutely cannot stand.
Celery. I hate it beyond words. I will not eat anything that has or had celery in it. Not even a seasoning that has celery salt. I hate the smell and the taste makes me want to puke.

3) What's your biggest fear(s)?
Failing as a teacher and realizing all my money was wasted. Having a baby is also a close second - I don't know if I can handle having one ALL the time. It freaks me out a bit.

4) Biggest pet peeve(s)?
-When someone doesn't text back after you've been a.) conversing back and forth or b.) you asked a question and they choose to answer 3 days later.
-slow drivers who cannot abide by the posted speed limit.
-ass kissers in my classes who think they know everything about teaching.

Miller 64 or a Miller Lite (hey my Dad works for Miller I like to keep him employed), if I'm in the mood a cherry vodka and red-bull is always a good choice.

His temper! He gets SO MAD about the stupidest stuff sometimes!

I love that he is a toucher, but only with me! He likes holding hands in public, or snuggling on the couch while watching a movie. But he isn't big on touching other friends or family. Just me.

It drives me nuts that FI can NEVER put down the toilet seat. I absolutely love the way FI can always cheer me up and constantly makes me feel loved, happy, special, and lucky.

Tries to be all kissy and huggy when I'm getting ready for work. It's cute at first, but can be irritating because keeps doing it, I can't get ready, and then I end up being late.

Every morning about 15 minutes before my alarm goes off, he snuggles up to me, gives me a hug and a kiss and whispers "I love you". It's cute because he thinks I'm asleep and don't know what he's doing, which just makes is sweeter because he's doing that for him, not me.

Horseradish

Losing FI

My SO smokes and when we fight, he fights the same way I do... so its like fighting with myself which I never realized before how frustrating I am when I'm irritated lol I absolutely love his way with words and how affectionate he is in public or in private. He makes me laugh on a daily basis

His baby momma will cause drama for us, break us up or I won't be able to adopt Seth even tho her parental rights have been permanently taken away.
