I am feeling like a hugely pregnant woman.  Luckily, no one has told me I look like I am about to pop.  I've actually gotten a lot of compliments lately.  I think that people around here know better than to piss off a pregnant lady.

After some events last week, I know that we are exceedingly lucky.  I am treasuring every last pregnancy 'side-effect,' no matter how painful or irritating.  It will all be worth it when we bring Mr. Man home.  It is insane to think that could be any day now.

My shower was awhile ago.  I think I posted pictures of the loot.  I will post more pictures when his room is done.  It is 99% of the way there.  The amount of crap that babies 'need' is astounding.

I'm glad you're doing well! I think it's really great that you are seeing each side effect as a good thing. While I've never been pregnant, I find it really irritating when people are "desperate" to get pregnant then complain the whole time. I'm sure it's no walk in the park and I'm sure there are times that are painful and scary but it is good to be hungry and it is inevitable that you will be uncomfortable and the end result is so worth it.

I can't wait to see Mr. Man, I'm sure he'd going to be exceedingly handsome!

KD, I am so thankful to be pregnant.  However, the discomfort is beyond what I would have ever expected.  I literally cannot make a fist with my right hand anymore due to carpal tunnel induced by swelling.  It hurts to walk because my feet are so swollen.  I have very painful contractions several times a day.  I cannot sleep.  I could go on, but you get the point.  I understand why women complain.

The only reason I feel this way is because I know someone who had to be induced last week after not hearing a heartbeat.  She was due 4 days before me.  This is why I have the perspective I have right now.  I catch myself about to b!tch and then thank God that Mr. Man is punching me in the cervix.

So exciting! He will be here before you know it and I'm sure adorable as ever. I'm sorry that you are going through this discomfort now but I'm sure it will be well worth it when you see his precious face!

I am so glad things are going well for you! How is the house coming together?

My friend is due in December and she was just diagnosed with pneumonia. She is really upset about having to go on medication during her pregnancy, but I told her you not being able to breath is going to be just as harmful if not worse.
