Stupid Question

Hey guys, I have a really stupid newbie question. I'm having fun bouncing around from board to board reading all these neat hints and conversations but I keep stumbling on acronyms that I don't understand. The obvious ones I get -FMIL, MOH, FI etc. I finally figured out PIP. What does DD mean? WR, WC, or AYG? Or AW? You need a dictionary sticky!! lol
If anyone could help it would be appreciated. I wasn't sure what board to put this on but you all seem very friendly.

    DD = Dirty Delete
    WR = Wedding Related
    AW = Attention Whore

    I don't remember the others... I would need to see them in context. There is a sticky somewhere that details them, though.

  • DD can also mean Dear Daughter, so sometimes you have to look at the context.

    Still here and still fabulous!

  • That makes sense. That's how I figured out most of them but I was stumped on a few.

    DD - Dirty Delete. It's when a poster deletes their post(s).
    WR - wedding-related. (NWR is non-wedding-related.)
    WC - wedding coordinator
    AYG - air your grievances (Snarky Brides board)
    AW - attention whore

    You didn't list these, but...

    FFF - Flame Freely Friday on the Etiquette board.
    UO - unpopular opinion
    II - irrational irritation

    Edit: I'm late posting. Sorry for repeats. Someone came over to chat with me while I was typing this.
  • I've been floating around here and there for a little while and I wasn't sure what some of them were either.

    Thanks!
