Have you ever taken swimming lessons?
Yeah, when I was little. I remember I would always let go of the side when I wasn't supposed to and I'd go under. I can't really swim now though. I'm a great swimmer when I'm moving, but I sink like a rock if I try to tread water. So if I'm in the pool, I'm fine. If I have to swim to save my life... dead.

Did you have light up shoes as a kid? I was always so jealous of the other kids who had them.
NO. What's up with that?! I always wanted some but never got any. When I was like 12 I got some light up flip flops but that's it.

Favourite hot chocolate flavour?
Umm. Chocolate? I don't think I've tried many flavors. I'm more of a tea and coffee girl.

What's one book you can read over and over again?
I actually really hate reading books over and over again. I have several movies that I'll watch over and over though. I think I've seen An Education about 6 times this month.

What is the place you want to visit the most?
There are so many places! I really want to see Africa. I also want to try something tropical like Tahiti. And I want to go to India. And Italy.

But... I think I'll choose Tahiti, because I've never really been anywhere tropical.

How many states have you lived in?
Only one. Until I moved out of my parents' house, I lived in the same house my whole life. Even now, I live one county over.

Why narwhals?
It's from that video on youtube.. Narwhals Narwhals swimming through the ocean.... but I chose it because it's one word and I didn't have to get any numbers with it. Plus, narwhals are awesome. And I am also awesome.

Do you want kids? How many?
Yes. I want more than 2. Three sounds perfect, but I don't want an uneven number because I want everyone to be able to have a partner on roller coasters. So 4 sounds good.

Do you like seafood?
Yes. I love seafood. Especially shellfish. But last year I developed an intense allergy to it, so I can't eat it anymore or I'll like die or something.

1. Do you believe in Heaven or any sort of place that has to do with an afterlife?
I believe in Heaven. I'm a Christian, although I'm a little more liberal with my interpretations than most. I feel like if I'm doing anything terribly off base, God will be sure to let me know. A lot of my theology is based on "I'll follow what I know for sure, but I'm not going to bother with the debates about the things that don't really matter."

2. What three lessons do you want to pass on to your children if you have any?
Umm. That's a good one!

I especially want to teach them to be thankful for what they have. Not like the new gaming system or cars, but to be thankful for a warm coat in the winter. Stuff like that. And when they have excess to pass it on to other people that don't have enough.

I want to teach them not to let the lack of character in others decide their own. People are going to be unfair and people are going to cheat, but that doesn't mean that it's okay to do the same.

I also want to teach them that I'm proud of them, even if they screw up, but to be the best person they can be anyway, because it's just a good habit.

3. Do you have any pets?
I DO! I have a beautiful dilute calico kitty named Lucy. She's awful in an amazing way.

4. Chicken or Steak?
I eat chicken more often; my stomach can't handle much red meat. But I do love a good steak every now and then.

5. Black or white?
Umm...  black. it doesn't show dirt.

As a pet? I've only had a few fish. I had a beautiful red betta fish for about a year and a half. His name was Nathaniel. He was awesome. He played. I cried when he died.

It's okay. It's Nicole. I like my name together, Amy Nicole, but I don't really care for Nicole on it's own.

Ummm. I usually buy most of my clothes from Ross. But I really enjoy modcloth.com when they're having sales.

Dr Pepper (it doesn't have a period. I learned that the other day in one of my Print Media classes. Just a tidbit.)

I like the ocean scents that actually smell like the beach. I don't like the ones that are called Ocean and smell like soap.

Ummm. Eating red meat.  I really need to stop, because like I said before, it messes up my stomach. But it is delicious.

I get takeout, rent a movie, and veg out.

My middle name is Nicole, too! I hate it by itself and as a first name, but it's cool as a middle name.  It's hitting the road when I get married, though.

I'm not completely sold on it yet, but I just think it looks nice. It's not a feminist thing or anything. I just think it's cute.

When I make an effort to actually get dressed, I guess I'm sort of... bohemian casual? That's all I can really think of. I wear a lot of big prints and bright colors. I like dresses because they are convienient. But unfortunately lately I've only had time for tshirt and jeans.

I was intending on getting a BS in Psychology. Then I decided to switch to Public Relations, so now it will be a BA in Mass Comm, concentration in Public Relations. It's a growing and exciting field, so I am pretty confident (as much as you can be in this kind of economy) that I'll be able to find a job. I'm not opposed to moving, but since FI's job is going to be location-centered and mine won't be, we'll probably end up staying around here. I might go back to school sometime when I'm older, but it would be in something like literature, I think.

Spatula. Because I believe it to be the neatest sounding word. Also spatulas are very handy.

Sunrise, I have to say... I'm sort of a morning person.

I really like taking a road trip up to Charleston and spending the day there.

Sometimes during the summer, usually about once a year, Isaac and I go down to this corner store and get a Cheerwine in glass bottles and fresh strawberries. Then we go home and tie dye. It's so much fun.

To tear up my lawn, in my experience.

1) Favorite colour to paint your finger nails? toes?
I can't paint my fingernails. I never really have a problem with biting them, but if I have nail polish on them, I will chip it off. I don't have my toenails painted right now but I usually go with red. Or beige, if I'm tan.

2) Monkeys or Zebras? Why?
Zebras. Because they don't throw their poop and the have the lowest stress levels of the animal kingdom. They just chill. If a lion tries to eat them, they get the hell out of there, and then they don't worry about it anymore. Zebras are awesome.

3) Favorite date thus far with FI?
That's difficult... Can I say when we went to see the lights, because I like that we got engaged that night?

Wait! When we went to the aquarium. That was a lot of fun. I really like our day trips though... I can't decide. We're talking about going down to Atlanta to go to the GA aquarium and the Coke Factory, but we haven't gotten around to it yet.

The afternoon. I'm not really much of a night owl. I prefer doing stuff during the day and actually sleeping at night.

Where do you want to go on your honeymoon?

We're talking about a few different places right now. If we can afford it, the two top places on our list are New Zealand or Jamaica. Otherwise, we might take a small trip to the Outer Banks or the Florida Keys and then take a big trip for our anniversary.

Dumbest thing you've ever seen posted on TK?
Ummm. There was this girl who posted on here once who was an absolute lunatic. She thought that she was friends with this couple from General Hospital (the actors, not the characters... the characters were a couple, but the actors were not) and that she was going to be the maid of honor in their wedding. I can't remember much about her, but she was just a looney toon.
