Pink and Orange wedding colors!

I'm looking for ideas on how to also include my fianc. My wedding colors are pink and orange I love bright colors! and I don't want it to come across as being too girly or not having any trace of my fianc. He loves music and he plays the drums. How can I show some of him in the reception?
Also, if you have any good ideas for a pink and orange wedding please share! : thanks!

Hi-
I had a pink and orange wedding :) I had the girls wear pink and carry pink and orange flowers. The second picture is my bouquet.

• I don't think your colors will stop you from incorporating him. Let him choose which color he would prefer to wear for his pocket square or whatever (if they are even wearing colors). You could incorporate his love for the drums or music in other things including the centerpieces, favors, accessories.

Think about things that represent him or the both of you to add to the wedding. If he loves music and it works for your fun and younge reception use old records for your chargers or as mats for your centerpieces (under hurricanes or vase). Let him pick out his fave candy for the favors and use cute ribbons with music notes on it to tie. Let him pick out some favorite songs for the playlist.

My guy likes being a part of the wedding planning. We are having a popcorn bar bc its our fave movie food, he is picking out his own tux (color included with minimal guidance), he is also getting his own grooms cake that is ONLY about him (not a drop of me in the disc golf cake lol) and he is VERY involved in the menu planning.

Just some ideas :)
• Thanks so much! That helps! :
• Thnls for replying! I was also thinking of having my bridesmaids wear black dresses. Thanks for sharing the pics!
• I think black would look awesome too...the colors will really pop with a black dress :)

• My wedding colors of pink and orange as well, my fiance and I went with more of a salmon tone since it is pink and orange mixed together... we are doing primarily black with ALOT of color splashing of the salmon. Then we incorporating pink and orange seperatly where we see fit.
• I'm using pink/orange as well..sort of going for a 'sunset' theme...so there will be loads of pinks, yellows, and oranges.

• My MOH is wearing a champagne and black dress (she's the only attendant I have). Our flowers are pink and orange to give things a little "pop" of color. I think it's going to look great.

We also went with pew flowers in pink and orange with pink bows. Our cupcakes are going to be pink/orange/green to coordinate too.

To incorporate his tastes, we added a few gnomes here and there (chocolate favors, save the dates, cake topper, our guest book and gnomeo & juliet activities for the kids in attendance).

You can do a lot with pink & orange and still have some things that are a nod to his taste and interests. Have fun with it and get creative!
Just my two cents! Penny L G M

I did bright orange at my wedding, no pink, but it was important to me that it didn't look like one or two colors threw up all over the venue/ceremony, so I incorporated lots of neutrals, which actually helped the orange stand out event more. My colors ended up being taupe, brown, gold, white and cream with splashes of orange in the flowers, ribbons, etc. I got lots of compliments. I think black could work just as well for your neutral.

A drum set groom's cake would be super-cute. Also you could do drum shaped cookies for favors?

Here is a super-cute idea for a way to decorate the aisle: http://www.stylemepretty.com/georgia-weddings/2012/04/13/atlanta-wedding-at-park-tavern-by-ellyb-events/
• I'm in the planning process as well, but I came across this picture and I am incorporating the navy blue to have a tri-color wedding. This way it doen't come across as super "girly." :)

Good Luck!
