In need of a mood boost

Hi Girls,

I have a case of the Wednesdays. Today was one of those "nothing can go my way" at work days. I've already venting to bf (he made dinner himself which was a lovely treat), talked to close on phone for an hour, taken a bath and am in the process of eating cupcakes.

Thought about having a glass of wine, but don't want to overdue it before an inevitably long Thursday! What do you girls due when you need a mood boost?

Shop.  Or get a mani/pedi.  Or workout.  Or have sex.  Or have a go with the rabbit.  Or go out with friends.

Shoes- I would love to shop right now! I just can't justify the expense though. :( Damn mortgage ruins all my fun!

Beth- do you mean actual coloring with crayons or like the "Sex and the City" coloring? Either way, good idea!

Aw! Sorry to hear it, binky. Go to damnyouautocorrect.com. That always gets me laughing!

Speaking of coloring, one of my high school Literature teachers used to do an exercise once or twice a semester. He'd put on a random mix of music, starting with some crazy high-tempo banjo thing. You had a huge piece of paper and a pile of crayons in front of you, and you colored to the music, putting on paper however it made you feel. It was really fun, and it got you out of your head a little. You could try that!

    I second shoes's ideas--all of them!

    Hope you feel better soon!

I meant actual coloring with crayons. I don't know what 'Sex in the City' coloring is.

It's a sex euphemism. I think one that Charlotte used so that her kids couldn't hear! It's from the first movie I think.

And I really like the color to music idea.. Could be neat to do with my kids too! Thanks!

For me, just going for a walk makes me feel so much better. And baking/cooking. Both of those things.

I go for a long drive by myself and blast some music... depending on which mood I'm in determines what music I blast...

or I listen to comedy to make myself laugh...
