I've been to the Bahamas.  It's too close to the climate of where I live, so somewhere different would be awesome.

Ooh. Cozumel. I could see the ferry to Cozumel from our hotel room on our HM, but we didn't end up going there.

It would be awesome (for me) if we departed from Fort Lauderdale! 

Also, the port of call for those two new, amazing, huge ships with Royal Caribbean (Allure and Oasis of the Seas) is Fort Lauderdale!

Oh shoot.  I just remembered that we were planning on doing our "honeymoon" over Christmas and New Year's next year.  I don't know if I could take 3 weeks of vacation between December and January!

How about everyone just come on my wedding cruise this summer?

Around October is usually the cheapest for cruises because of hurricane season. We could do a halloween cruise. I would love to go to Belize, Roatan, and Cozumel.

A cruise that leaves out of New Orleans would be great. 

Siriusly, though, it's going to be impossible to find something that makes everyone completely happy as far as departure city, destinations, and dates.  Let's just find something affordable with good reviews, and agree that anyone who can't go doesn't get to be butthurt about it.

It is really hard during traditional school time for a lot of us gals--holidays too for others. I'm going to have to fly regardless unless people want to cruise around my local lake reservoir. Kansas ftw!

We could always do a Doodle poll for best times for people. Then we can get a ballpark idea of whose would be available when.

Besides, I'm planning on getting married Jan. 2013, so I would be knee-deep in wedding planning by December of next year. In addition, FI would have a fit if I went on a cruise without him.

Alaska in summer is on my bucket list, however, you could not pay me to go there in the winter.  Okay, maybe you could pay me, but it would have to be a shiit ton of money because I despise cold weather!

I would be interested in going. I love cruises, but BF doesn't really care about them. I don't know if I would be able to swing it, though. It would depend on the cost and how long the trip would be.
