Sorry to let you guys down.  I was totally sold on going red, but this morning I just couldn't bear to give up the blonde thing, even for a little while.  The stylist agreed with me, then she put in a shitton of highlights and cut layers that took 5 pounds off of my head.  I'm in love with it.

This is one of those cell-phone-bathroom-mirror pictures, and it doesn't do it justice, but you get the idea:

    He won't see it until tomorrow afternoon.  I'm going to DFW to visit him for the weekend.  Until then, I'm letting him think that it's red and <em>very</em> short, just to torture him a little.

    beautiful!! We're hair cut twins, since I  have the same haircut, and the same hair color! yay!
