I stole this from my local board...yes, I've finally gotten over my fear of posting somewhere other than NEY.

Late Sleeper or Early Riser?

Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)

    Messy one?
We're both pretty messy but I'm the one who cleans up so I'll say he is.

    Workaholic?
He is. He'll work any shift he possibly can until the point of near exhaustion. I'll work 40 hours and feel like I've accomplished enough at work.

    TV Hog?
I don't think either of us hog it. I'll watch shows he likes and he'll watch the ones I like with little complaints.

    Late Sleeper or Early Riser?
Techinally, he gets up four hours earlier than I do for work (2am- YUCK!) but on days off I usually get up at 9 and he's up anytime after....2?
Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)
He is an amazing cook. I'm good at velvetta shells and cheese.

Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)?
Me- He likes to be a homebody. I like seeing our friends once in awhile.

    Smart one?
He says me. I'm more book smart when it comes to things like school. He is very level headed and "smarter" in real life situations.

    Who is the....

Messy one? HE is. By far. I have to beg him to clean his room.

Workaholic? I can't tell. Me, probably, because I'm the one with the full time job now.

TV Hog? Me, but for the most part, we like the same stuff.

Late Sleeper or Early Riser? Oh, this goes back and forth, but mostly I'm the early riser because that's how my body clock works.

Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)He is. I hate cooking and I can't do all that much of it, either.

Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)? Him. He likes to hang out with people, I'd rather be by myself.

Smart one? Hmmm. The subject of many a debate here. He's more street smart, I'm more book smart. He can pick things up on a dime, it takes me forever to learn something. I tell him he's the smartest person I know, but he tells me that because I have a degree, I'm the smart one. I think it's win-win here.

    Who is the....

    Messy one?
We're both messy, but he blows me out of the water.

    Workaholic?
We both work a lot (when we have jobs). He's always trying to get extra shifts, and I'm always staying late to catch up or cover functions.

    TV Hog?
Me. He doesn't watch much TV.

    Late Sleeper or Early Riser?
I am the early riser. He is the late sleeper.

Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)
I tend to cook more "gourmet" things.

Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)?
Me. I always want to go out and do something. He's adament that he doesn't like people and wants to stay home.

    Smart one?
Exactly what Kathleen said -- I'm more "book smart," while he is much smarter and levelheaded in "real life" situations.

TV Hog? Me.  I need to watch my stories;)
Late Sleeper or Early Riser? I sleep late, he gets up early.
Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)Me!! But he makes WICKED pancakes

Messy one? We're both messy in different ways. He leaves clutter and mail and stuff all around the apartment. I leave dishes on my desk for days.

Workaholic? Definitely me. Josh rarely takes on more than he HAS to do. He does work a little overtime, but I'm the one with seven billion projects, hobbies, activities, and an obsession with making straight A's.

TV Hog? We watch TV together and normally we're interested in the same programs. However, usually I find something I want to watch and leave the channel there. He likes to play TV roulette and flip channels over and over, even when he finds something decent. Sometimes he flips so fast you can't even tell what's on. It drives me batty.

Late Sleeper or Early Riser? I'm the early riser! Josh would sleep until noon if left undisturbed. I can't sleep later than 9am without feeling guilty, and usually I'm up by 7.

Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :) It used to be Josh, but over the summer I took up cooking since I was home so much. Now we share the responsibility, but my meals are better because I try new things and don't just go for the tried-and-true pasta with jarred sauce or baked potatoes.

Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)? Absolutely me. Josh is a hermit.

Smart one? We're both equally intelligent. I'm more focused on it sometimes... I have an ego and I like being considered "smart." Josh is very low-key about it. Also, I'm very mechanically-minded, so to speak. I'm the one who can figure out how to fix things or how to solve puzzles in video games and stuff. Josh is much more logical and can reason through problems much better than I can. I tend to think with my heart a lot.

Messy one? Neither of us are neat freaks, but my mess is more contained than his is.

    Workaholic? We both can be.

TV Hog? Generally neither until soccer or hockey season and then it is him for sure.

Late Sleeper or Early Riser? BF is a late sleeper and I'm the early riser.
Resident chef of the house?  We both love to cook. BF is more chef like, I need to follow a recipe. So, BF is the chef of the house and I'm the baker of the house.

Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)? More likely me.

Smart one?  We are both smart in very different ways. I'm more book smart, although he's pretty good in that area too. He's got better life skills than me though, or atleast i really appreciate the skills he has and I don't.

Messy one? We're both pretty neat in general.  Except my desk.  My desk is messy.  I can always find everything though.

Workaholic?  Neither.  We work hard, but never too much.  I'm more of a perfectionist when it comes to work though.

    TV Hog?  Him.

Late Sleeper or Early Riser?  I sleep late, he gets up early.

Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)  Both.  We can cook different meals.

Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)? Him.

Smart one?  I'd say we're equally smart because we do the same thing in the same program.  He's a little better at math than me, and I'm better at written stuff.

    Who is the....
Messy one?My room tends to be more cluttered than his is, but my car tends to be cleaner.  But that might be because we take his car more than mine and I junk it up.
Workaholic?Me.  Although not to an extreme.  He'll just do anything to avoid work and I get uneasy if I have nothing to do or not enough hours.. etc.
    TV Hog?We're pretty equal.
Late Sleeper or Early Riser? He sleeps late, I'm a morning person (except this morning, I just woke up).
Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)I try to cook.  I don't do very well.  He actually can cook, but he doesn't.
Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)? That's difficult. I'm more likely to talk to people than he is, but he tends to have more friends than I do.
Smart one?I make better grades and I'm more scholastically driven than he is, but he tends to make better decisions than I do.  We were talking about this the other day, actually.  He has more common sense where as I will do anything to not hurt someone's feelings.

Messy one? We're both messy, but I'm also weirdly hyper-organized. I just always leave clothes and shoes lying around. But I also clean it up willingly and organize it in my wardrobe appropriately.

Workaholic? HE IS! Not exactly by choice though. But lots of work = $$$ He's a hard worker.

TV Hog? We don't really watch tv together. We watch whatever movies I pick ;)

Late Sleeper or Early Riser? He gets up at 4:30 a.m. Mon-Fri. for work. But if he had a choice, he'd sleep until noon. I'm more likely to be the one choosing to get up at 6 a.m. and like it :)

Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)All he can cook is spaghetti, but I make better spaghetti than he does :) I try to cook.

Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)? He probably knows more people than I do but because he is a workaholic (see above) he doesn't see people much. I'm always planning out social calendars and events.

Smart one? He'd say that I am.

Messy one? *raises hand* that would be me... I am not TOO bad though, just certain things. Like forgetting to hang up clothes and leaving books everywhere

Workaholic? We both are.  I am a real estate agent and he is a project officer for the government. Between the two of us we probably work 120 hours a week

TV Hog? We have more than one tv *thumbs up* because the only thing we can agree on watching is hockey

Late Sleeper or Early Riser? I am a late sleeper if I get the chance, but that is rare

Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)  Neither, we both hate cooking (yeah, we are a horrible couple) so we eat out a lot. But when we stay in it's usually me cooking

Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)? We are both fairly social people

Smart one? We are both smart in completely opposite ways. I am the "arts" smart (reading, writing etc) and he is more "sciences" smart

TV Hog? Hmm neither of us.  We basically like the same TV shows.

Late Sleeper or Early Riser? He sleeps late because he works late.  I wake up early for work.

Resident chef of the house?  Him!  We cook together but he is way better!

Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)? We are both very social.

Smart one? hmm me I guess.  Not that he isn't smart, but school always came much easier for me.

Messy one? He is. He's not that bad but my mother is a major clean freak and the gene passed down.

Workaholic? I am. I'm the person who tried to drive into work when there is 6 inches of snow on the ground.

TV Hog? He is such a TV hog.
Late Sleeper or Early Riser? He is a late sleeper. I like to be a late sleeper but most of the time I cant because there is too much to do.

    Who is the....

    Messy one?
Me!  I'm cluttered and messy, but he's dirty.  I keep my mess contained (in my closet) and he scatters his stuff everywhere.  But he's better at cleaning!

    Workaholic?
Him! He's the most ambitious, dedicated, disciplined person I've ever met.

    TV Hog?
Him.  He hates every  show I like, so I have to do the compromising and watch either Colbert Report or Tosh.O

    Late Sleeper or Early Riser?
He gets up at 5am to go running, I get up at 8am.  I definitely need more sleep than him on a regular basis, but on weekends he'll sleep in longer than me (not by much, though - 8am vs. 9am)

Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)
I am definitely the chef!  And I'm damned good at it!

Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)?
Both of us - it's one of the things I love most about him.  I went to prom alone in high school after turning down 8 guys because I didn't want to babysit someone else in a social setting, making sure they're having fun.  I need a guy who can work a room on his own, and lets me do my own thing.

    Smart one?
Each of us, in different ways.  I'm more naturally smart, but he's now a law student and is absolutely AMAZING at strategy games - I just can't beat him!

Workaholic? Depends, but I think when he has a project that needs to be completed for work he gets into zone where nothing will deter him.
TV Hog?  Neither, we don't really watch TV anymore.
Late Sleeper or Early Riser? We're both night owls, but I like getting up in the morning and getting my day started.  Hate wasting a perfectly good sunny day on lounging in bed.
Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)BF is the cook, he pretty much is in charge of dinner and I am the baker, so between us dinner and dessert is covered.
Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)? I am the social one of the two.  I'm way to bubbly in social situations.

    Who is the....

    Messy one?
We're both pretty messy...this is going to be interesting when he moves in...but I've been working for months at clearing out space for him and have actually turned my house pretty neat and organized - still some messes, though.
    Workaholic?
I used to be a major workaholic - led to stress and burnout with my job 2 years ago.  Whatever job I do, I want to make sure to do my absolute best, but have made a point in my job search that I have to find something less stressful and something that I can definitely separate work from home.  Joe hates his job right now, but does an awesome job at it and has a hard time saying no when they need him to switch with someone.
    TV Hog?
Joe is for sure.  I'll turn the TV on for background noise sometimes when I'm alone, but not always.  He has to have it on at all times.  And when we're watching something together, if I forget to "hide" the remote, he'll switch the channel as soon as a commercial comes on cause he hates commercials.
    Late Sleeper or Early Riser?
I'm definitely an early bird.  Joe would prefer to sleep in, but his sleep schedule is so messed up cause he works graveyard and it makes it really difficult to get a solid amount of sleep for him.
Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)
Definitely me.  I'm not a gourmet cook at all, but I can certainly keep us fed and have Joe asking for seconds (and thirds, sometimes, that man can eat!).  Just this morning I was on the phone with him when he got home from work - he messed up boiling potatoes - don't know how he did it. Usually the only thing he can make is hot dogs in the microwave.  He's really good at putting salad in bowls, though.
Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)?
I have more "friends" than he does, but neither of us goes out much.  When we do go somewhere, he is definitely more sociable than I am.
    Smart one?
I say we're both smart in our own ways, but Joe tells everyone I'm smarter than he is.

Messy one? I'd say him, but only because when I get stressed I clean.
Workaholic? Neither. And I really hope that his career change doesn't make him into one!
TV Hog? We don't watch TV very often but I tend to hog it when we do.
Late Sleeper or Early Riser? Me- Later Sleeper Him- Early riser
Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)We take turns. It used to be mostly him cooking because I was convinced I couldn't, but we started cooking together and now when he's too busy to help I make him dinner and vice versa.
Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)? Definitely him. I prefer to stay to myself or with my small group of friends. Case and point I take a book with me everywhere and will prefer that over socializing.
Smart one? He's always gotten better grades than me and was an AP/Honors student. It's a bit intimidating and frustrating sometimes, but I'm "smarter" when it comes to things that I like. I'd own him in finding a book in a library.

    Messy one?
We're both pretty neat, but I am way more OCD about it.

    Workaholic?Neither.

    TV Hog?
Luckily we have two TV's to avoid this issue :-)

    Late Sleeper or Early Riser?
I am the late sleeper, FI is the early riser.

Resident chef of the house?  Or at least tries to cook :)I am the chef, FI is the chef in training, his cooking has gotten much better over the last year though.

Social "butterfly" (for lack of a better word)?
    We're both pretty social.

    Smart one?
We're both pretty smart in our respective fields.
