    Yay!!!

Where do you want to live?
I'd love to live in Florida some day. Be  a snow bird and go down there in the winter when it's chilly here in MN.

    Apples or oranges?
    Oranges!!

    Favorite comfort food?
    Mac and Cheese. Or chilli!

    Do you have siblings?
Yes! I have three siblings. A brother, Evan, who is 19. A brother, Connor, who is 17. And a little sister, who is 8!

    What does you screenname mean?
It's just my username at my school. Not creative!

    \Were you named after anyone?
My name is Hope for everyone who doesn't know.  No, I was not. But... Here's why my name is Hope:
When my mom was pregnant with me she started bleeding very bad. She rushed to ER, and they did an ultrasound and I had come attached from the placenta. The doctors told her I would be gone in a few hours. My mom didnt believe them, and rushed to her actual ob. He said the same thing: That I'd be gone in a few hours since I was just hanging by a thread in the placenta.  She asekd what she could do, but they said nothing. There was no way to save me.  But, my mom never lost HOPE. And she went home and didn't get out of bed for 3 weeks. The bleeding stopped, and after 3 weeks she went back to the doctor. I was re-attached!! So she calls me her 'miracle', and that's why my name is Hope. To always remind me that when life doesn't seem like it's working out at all, there is still ALWAYS Hope.
    :)

    Have you ever called 911?
Yep. In Minneapolis it seems like some people just aren't good drivers, and there seems to be a lot of accidents. I always call when I see one happen. I also used to be epileptic when I was younger (I grew out of it), but when I'd have seizures I'd get to ride in the ambulance.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a clown! Weird, I know.

Now, What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a social worker. I want to start a non-profit organization sort of like meals on wheels, but bring food to the homeless each night. That's my dream.

    Laptop or desktop?
    Laptop!

Bad habit you can't give up?
Sleeping on my tummy. I know it's not bad, but my neck is always sore when I sleep that way. But it just feels the best!

    Favorite book?
When Joy Came to Stay by Karen Kingsbury. It's not popular, but it's my favorite!

Favorite activity on a rainy afternoon?
Knitting and watching a movie! Or else, I love to make beaded jewelry. My first job was at a bead store, and I was in charge of making all of the samples. Plus I'd get all the leftover beads for free.  I still have quite the stash.  So i enjoy doing that.

    Favorite holiday?
Easter! Christmas is good and all, but I love how Easter is around spring-time. And I love spring, much more than winter!

Have you always lived in MN?
Well right now I'm in WI for school, but other than that I've always lived in MN. We've never moved!

    What are your plans post-graduation?
In this order.  Get a job. Marry FI.  Buy a house.  2-5 years later have a kid. another kid. another kid. another kid. .... etc.

What are you most looking forward to on your wedding day (besides marrying your FI, obv)?
Well and I suppose I'm really looking forward to eating the cake. And for when the pastor says "I now present to you... Mr. and Mrs. B____!"

If you had to pick an NEYer to be a business partner, who would you pick and why?
I'm going to pick either Jeana or Cate. Jeana because she's funny. Cate because her interviewing/business skills seem to rock, so I feel like she'd be a good business partner!

1-If you were on a deserted island, and could bring three (3) CDs, what would they be?
For a deserted island probably Toby Mac, Taylor Swift, and I'd want some island-ish music since it's an island.

2-What does a perfect Saturday look like to you, from beginning to end?
Wake up at 8 or so. I'm a mornign person. Then eat a big huge breakfast which would include eggs and bacon (lots of bacon) and french toast and orange juice. Then I'd go on a morning hike with FI somewhere awesome. We'd bring a picnic lunc with us and eat somewhere pretty. Then we'd hike back and just relax for the afternoon cuddling. Then we'd go out for dinner. Not somewhere super fancy, since I dont' liike super fancy food. We'd probably go to famous daves because I love that place. Then we would go water tubing in the evening and have s'mores by the fire. Then at night we'd join up with our friends and play board games.

3-What's the best advice you've ever gotten from TK?
Hmmm... probably that it's important to not PLAN PLAN PLAN, but take a break when you need it. Also to not just start plannign right away, but to enjoy being 'engaged'.

I'd have to say probably http://whenparentstext.com/. I think it's funny.

Closet staple you recommend everyone buys?
    Scarves. I'm a big fan.

    Favorite class in college?
Probably my social work diversity class I'm taking right now. We pretty much have a speaker from a different culture every day and it's super interesting!!

    Favorite animal?
    I like squirrels.

How can you listen to CD's on a destered island?  Are you magic?
Wouldn't you like to know!!! (evil laugh)

Best advice your mom every gave?
"People are always goign to have their opinions about parts of you. When you're pregnant they're going to say  'wow, you don't even have a baby bump'! When you're engaged, they'll say, "You're too young!" or "Are you SURE you want to marry him"? Just remember that it doesn't really  matter what people's opinions are of you. You need to sometimes just let them go and move on."

Or do you have a religion? If so what and why?
I love Jesus. I am a Christian.  I am not really in any particular RELIGION, because personally, I just go to whatever church follows the Bible as close as it can. So at home I'm baptist and sometimes lutheran, at school I'm non-denomonational.  And why am I a Christian? I believe everything the Bible says to be true, and I really feel Jesus' presence around me all the time, and I can't imagine not serving Him with the life he's given me.

    Favorite childhood memory?
Probably going to Disney World. Or when my brothers were born.

What's the first thing you would do if you won the lottery today?
First thing I would do is buy a new used car. Mine is falling apart.  Then I would pay back all of my loans.

How do you like your eggs?
Omlets or scrambled. Or over easy. Or poached. I'm not picky!

What are you afraid of (rational/irrational)?
Getting pulled over by a cop.

How many kids do you want, and what do you want them to be (boys/girls)?
I'd like a few boys and a few girls. FI and I want 4-6 kids. My stomach is goign to look hot after that.

    Kids names?
I love the name Josiah. Other than that one, I really don't have any favorites. However, it will be a little hard with naming because FI's family names everyone with a "J" and my family names all of the girls after words. Hope, Grace... etc. So it could be tough. We may just forget all of the traditions.

And three lessons you want to teach them (no one's asked yet, so I'm stealing it)?
    1) Never give up.
    2) You always have Jesus when you feel like you have no one to run to.
    3) Always try your best at everything you do.

    Obviously because we're there.

Why did the chicken cross the road?
To get to the other side?

    What is your favorite food?
Favorite food of all time is mac and cheese or stuffed shells that my mommy makes.

    Sunrise or sunset?
Sunrise, but I'm NEVER up early enough for that!

    Favorite romantic date?
Once FI made a nice dinner at home (surprised me) and had candles lit and rose petals. I thought that was romantic! I like dates at home, rather than out sometimes.

    Favorite fun date?
Bowling! Or going for a hike.

And since Marley stole my chicken question and I gotta come up with another one...favorite childhood outdoor game?
Hmmm... Tough one! I'd say probably capture the flag. We used to play that all the time as kids.
