Holy cow ladies! There have been so many proposals this summer (I'm happy to be one of them)! Congrats to all you ladies!!  You'd almost think it was Christmas time!  I bet it's caused by global warming :P

    I'm not one of the newly engaged, but I wanted to congratulate everyone again!

    Also, amsybot, you made me curious about what kind of trends (if any) there are as to what time of the year people tend to get engaged, which prompted my thread, lol.

    I noticed that with my group of friends and acquaintances, there are always lots of proposals right around Christmas/New Years, then another bunch right around Valentine's Day, then a bunch more right as the weather starts getting nice from April-June. During those times, there is a new engagement or two almost every week!

    Elannis, I will check out your thread.  It seems to be a tren-ish thing, proposals.  I think it really says something about the way guy's brains work.
