A Rustic Ceremony

My wedding is the Berkshires and I looking for some ideas that are cute and country. Not too out there though...

An actual location or an idea?

Here's a very cute and rustic idea:
The guests are sitting in a circle in chairs and the couple walks into the ceremony space together:

  • Whiskey barrel cocktail/bar tables, haybale outdoor ounge seating covered with gradma's quilt (even if its washed and cleaned from Grandma Goodwill), mason jars with candels, shepard staff stakes with hanging lanterns. Lots of wood :)

  • Shane22choice - I'm from Western Ma- getting married next fall and kind of going with the same theme.

I see your weddng is in June.

just a few ideas off the top of my head...
anything with mason jars (you can get them cheap and in bulk offline).
    anything that includes lanterns.
    - maybe lining the aisle with lanterns or having mason jars hang off the chairs at the ends of the aisle with some type of rustic flower/twig arrangement.

instead of programs I'm actually going to get an old piece of wood and paint it with the chalkboard paint and have the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception info written on it in chalk. this works because I'm doing everything all at one spot.
