I'll speak up and add my name to the list of newbie introductions...

I'm Mary...BF and I have been together for 7 years.  We both live just outside Oklahoma City (now...we did the long distance thing for a long time).

I have a lhasa apso named Smudge, a completely irrational fear of pigeons, and I love macaroni and cheese.

Ha!  I hate pigeons too and agree with Desert that they are flying rats.  They are everywhere in Paris and it is gross.

Catfish- my BF and I have also been together for 7 years and did the long distance thing for awhile (he was stationed in Germany for 4 years).  Glad you're both in the same city now!  It's so much better, right?  Way more sexy time.

Yep, my name is Cate.  And I haven't actually made contact with a pidgeon yet - I mostly take a running kick to scare them. Sort of like all the stray cats in my neighborhood - though I think BF would seriously run one over if he could.  We've gotten way more than our share of flea bites from those they drop in our yard.

Also, I love potatoes, pretty much any way you cook them.  Especially mashed.  I do, however, have a moral opposition to fake potato flakes.
