After 3 long months in this small small town I got a job! I have been so down and discouraged lately thinking this was never going to happen for me. I was even considering moving back home.

I was so excited when I got the call from the lady at the portrait studio in Walmart. I have no photography experience, but my gift of gab totally got me the job. Or atleast I think that is what it was. I am just excited that I get to stay in Tahlequah...I have fallen in love with this town & school and I didn't want my lack of income to keep me from it. So yayyy!

    Awesome!  I worked at Sears Portrait Studio during college and it's a lot of fun (although, Christmas season was DREADFUL).  I'm sure you'll do great.

    Yay! I know how frustrating it can be to find a job in a small centre - the town where I grew up didn't even have a grocery store for much of my teens (but the day one did open, I was there resume in hand and got hired thank God).

    Thanks guys! Yes it has been quite frustrating, but I think sometimes you have to get so far down to actually appreciate being up! And I certainly do appreciate the fact that I will be able to pay my bills!

    I've lived in Tahlequah for 3 years now and I work in Muskogee, I couldn't find work in town so I completely understand.
