Christmas Shopping!

Soo I just finished all my Christmas shopping! Which is exciting.

How far are you with it?

What's the favourite gift you're giving to someone?
(Note: making gifts counts too!)

I signed my little sister up for cake decorating classes for the month of January at a local baker. She wants to be the next Cake Boss or something, so I know she'll love it.

Bren that's a GREAT idea!! I'm sure she'll love it!

I am ALMOST done.  I'm actually taking the day off tomorrow so I can finish.  I need a few more things for FBD, then something for mom,my brother, my 2 BFF and 2 buddies of mine.  I know what I'm getting all of them so I think it'll work out well.

The best present I'm giving this year is to my brother.  He's taken up smoking cigars lately (not A LOT but one a week or so) and so I've saved him 2 of our Cohiba's that I got in Cuba and I'm getting him a stainless steele cigar tube with his name engraved on it.  I think he'll be really pumped for it!

We are pretty much done with it, just have to get FI something and his parents.  HIs lilttle brother is set.  My parents are set, crap I forgot my Mom.  I didn't think of getting her anything with everything that has gone on between us.  So not completely done, but mostly.

The cake lessons are so cute! Paige im sure your brother will LOVE a cuban cigar or two.

I am almost done all of my christmas shopping/making

The gift I am most proud of is what I got for my mom. She and my dad and I are big wine drinkers so I have been saving all of the wine corks from the past 2 or 3 years and I made two cork boards out of wine corks for her kitchen and got pictures taken of my brothers and i and put a 10x13 in a matching frame.

I still have mom and dad that's one gift, older sister and younger brother.  The best gift this year I would have to say is a bike computer for FI for mountain biking.  It records top speed, distance, elevation, cadence and some other nifty info.    I know he'll like it, and it'll at least show him how his trianing is going.

I think I'm about done. I need to start wrapping things. I will tend to just pick up things as I see or think of them up to the last minute. I think the only things I still need are stocking stuffers.

I really want some cake decorating classes, lol.  But I think I got a Nook/Kindle instead.  We'll see.

I got BF a football autographed by his college team's football players.  It's pretty sweet.

I'm only buying for 4 people this year, which makes it easy.  FI is getting the bulk of it and I'm pretty much done with his.

I'm going to buy my mom a massage, my oldest sister some designer perfume, and my other sister a giftcard (she lives in Texas, so I don't want to have to ship anything).  My dad isn't getting crap this year...although I did joke about getting him a card and then enclosing an invoice for the $1400 he stole out of my wedding fund.

FI and I did our wishlists on Amazon this year, but I didn't want everything I got him to be from there because then he wouldn't be surprised with anything. I only bought him 2 things from his list which was a new camera tripod and a ski bag.  His surprise gifts are a new dive log book (I just dropped it off at my aunts yesterday, she is going to do a heat press vinyl with his name on it) and a T-shirt for his favorite band (I was actually surprised he didn't have any from them).

LOL. My mom is the bulk of my shopping. Why? Because she buys for everyone else, and if I don't get her lots of stuff, she'll have nothing. Then I just get my dad a gift card and a DVD, since he's a humbug anyway.

The only other person I buy for is FI, and he's the easiest one.

I just ordered FI some Uggs shoes that he "can wear to work and when I'm feeling frisky, I can put the fuzzy things (sheepskin insoles) in them!" He didn't seem too thrilled when I showed them to him but his mother and I have both heard him talking about them for two days straight so I figured I should order them. <-Thanks to whoever gave me the idea when they posted something about men's ugg shoes the other day (sorry I forgot who it was, I had to scurry and check it out)

I just need to buy my parents their blu ray player and my Grandma her gift card to her "favorite restaurant" (Taco Bell) and I should be set! Oh yea, I have to find an envelope to put my cousins "present" in ($$)

FI's FBIL loves beer and is really into recycled products, so for Christmas we sent him these really cool beer glasses that are made from recycled windshield glass <--- clicky link. We thought they would at least make a great conversation piece.

I'm 90% done with gifts.  I still have to have some pictures printed for some frames we bought, and some chocolates for stockings.  That's about it.

I was planning on doing some serious cookie baking this weekend to give to random people (landlord, boss, etc.) but now that I have a breadmaker, I think people will be getting loaves of bread instead!
