WR: Jewelry stuffs

So after my dress post I had some requests for jewelery pics.  What I want to do is match up my jewelery with the necklace that I have (Mom actually gave it to me for my birthday!! wo0t wo0t!)  I need earrings, a broach or some such thing (to add to the sash) and maybe a bracelet.  Some ladies offered to help me shop so my parameters are that the pieces need to have a similar feel, be affordable (I'm not paying more than $50 for earrings.  That ridic!) and be prudy!   Here are the pics of my necklace:

slung around my neck, right quick last night....it's kind of off center...

Anyhoar, it's a vintage 1920/1930 costume piece.  It's silver with dark(ish) stones. The stones have a purpley/pinky/blueish tint to them...(?)  I'm not in a rush to buy anything but if you're bored feel free help me shop.  Or just ogle the necklace...that's what I like doing;)

Also a tip: When searching, all the stones I found that looked similar in color to yours were called Aurora Borealis crystal. They have that iridescent, multi-color look. Might help narrow your search.

That was my favorite too! I bet she could absolutely do something custom and change out the stones for some purple ones for you

Those are all reallllly pretty, however, the stones are too light.  I tried some earrings and a broach that had the clearer stones (like those) and they didn't look right.  They need the darker/purpley/bluey/pinky stones.  Buttt I really like #4...

hahaha, thanks! I found it at an antique store near our flat.  I fell in love but I didn't want to pay what they were asking.  Mom surprised me with it as a birthday present <3

I know people can't pitch their own stuff, but I know Sunbird and several other girls on here are quite crafty.  Have you thought of buying one of those broaches that are a little light and having someone (or DIY) take out some of the stones and replace them with darker ones?  That way you can make sure it matches more exactly.

I also found this that I liked but it's attached to a garter belt and over your $50 budget but you might be able to contact the seller and see if they'll sell the broach by itself?

I love the necklace Paige! Are there any other antique or jewlery stores with good estate selections? I find that estate collections maybe closer to the vintage you are looking for.

Also, Cate's DIY option is good too.

I'll see if I can find anything.
