OMG! He got the ring!!!!

Ok, so we know we want to get married..... we've talked about all the little fun details about things.... We know we want to be with each other.... And I knew he wanted to propose at some point in the near future....
He comes over to my house before work to say goodnight.... He has the ring IN HIS POCKET!!!!! OMG!!!!!!

What a turd. He said he didn't want to ask and then have to go to work, otherwise he would have.... And he had it to show a co-worker....
Agh!!!
I cannot believe this is really happening to me! I can't believe he has the ring already!!!  I'm so freakin geeked right now!!!!!!

    FYI knowing someone, even being friends with someone is NOT the same as being in a relationship with someone.

    lol Tyler and I were just talking about this -- my sister has been engaged to her fiancé for twice as long as they knew each other before getting engaged (they met in July 2010, got engaged in January 2011). No date set yet. Just... engaged.

    Oh, we started discussing marriage after 1.5 weeks, but he didn't buy a ring with the intention to propose at that time.

    BF and I hadn't even kissed after a week and a half of dating. It was more than a month before that happened. Well not entirely true. We had our first date Oct 16, Oct 31 we went to a Halloween party together and I slept over at his house, in his bed, hoping that SOMETHING would happen. Nothing did so I finallu got up the courage in the morning to make a move on him. I went in for a kiss and he turned and I got his cheek. I thought I had found a ring in our closet (a small box from the jewelery store where the ring I love is from). Turns out, it wasn't a ring. It was cufflinks for his brother. The custom ring BF and I picked out was ready to be picked up last week. I still don't have it.</div>
