Processional songs

I am thrilled that my friend will be playing my processional songs on a harp! Now I just have to choose the songs. I'm pretty certain I want my party to walk to the hymn "Morning Has Broken." Not exactly a wedding song, but my favorite hymn and just a beautiful tune.

I am wondering though what I should walk to. I'm thinking I'd just have her play the same song but a fancier version for me, but I'm also thinking it would be nice to change it up. What are some of your thoughts?

I found a couple great songs. Not sure which would be good for processional but here are few ideas: Annie's Song - John Denver, Longer -Dan Fogelberg, I won't Give up - Jason Miraz, At Last - Etta James. For the harp, check out celtic music. Sounds great as instrumentals.

I'm walking down to Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Wizard of Oz is a favorite of mine and it's the song I sing to our daughter before bed.

I'm having my wedding party walk to Bach: Cello Suites No 1.....my son is our ring bearer and this way we have time for him to get down and the music can be faded without noticing. I will walk to Largo -Vivaldi...Four Seasons.

Maybe....the actually wedding is getting OVER THE RAINBOW, the happy escape to a new life together???

I'm having the bridal party walk to air by handles water music, for me I'm doing cannon in d and for the recessional rigaudon by handles water music.
