I've been reading the past couple of days that a number of you have travel plans coming up. Please tell, I love to talk travel!

1. How many pieces of luggage do you own?
Heh... um... a lot? I own a nice extra large roller, a nice carry-on roller, and about a dozen other bags of various size, shapes, and quality.  For business, I only use the nice ones.  For personal, either the carry-on roller or my backpackers backpack.

2. Name three of the items on your "Must Pack" list:
Besides the obvious toothpaste and toothbrush?  Um, earplugs for sure.  My "butt pillow" for long plane rides (shattered my tailbone a few years ago and it can really start hurting after a few hours).  And my comfy socks to wear on the plane.

3. What's the craziest thing you've done while travelling?
Hah... oh man... hooked up with the hot Australian guide of my bar crawl in Edinburgh?  Obviously well before I met BF.  Coolest thing I ever did was sleep in a tower on the Great Wall.

4. Describe your last trip:
For fun, BF and I went to San Diego for a weekend for a wedding.  For work, I was in Lima, Peru and the only thing I saw was a hotel and a taxi, but I ate good food!

5. Upcoming plans? Fantasies?
For work, I go to Mexico next week.  My parents and BF are freaking out since I'll be running a conference that all the Secretaries of Finances from the various Mexican states will be attending, so they're afraid the drug cartels are going to blow up our hotel or spray us with gunfire or kidnap me or something.  They weren't really happy when I told them my company has kidnapping insurance - I thought it would be comforting!  And for fun, we're off to Europe next month!  Vienna, Munich, and Paris.  Going to be INCREDIBLE!

1. How many pieces of luggage do you own? 1 a duffel bag

2. Name three of the items on your "Must Pack" list: suprisingly nothing like toothbrush or toothpaste....those you can always buy. my three are underwear, a spare shirt and a book. I'd never want to be stuck somewhere else without a change (what if something happens and you get dirty or wet), and for those long waits between flights etc... reading material is a must. I always have all three in my carryon bag. the rest i find you can get at a store when you arrive

3. What's the craziest thing you've done while travelling?
spent an entire week traveling italy with no plans. we'd get up in the morning, look at a map and decide where we felt like going. It was the most fun i've had to date!

4. Describe your last trip: I think my last trip by plane was to Newfound land for a conferance...not so exciting, but i had a working vacay with my b/f in cape breton (NS), talk about a beautiful and romantic drive!

5. Upcoming plans? Fantasies? Heading to Mexico in December or Feb to spend a week with the 'inlaws' at their condo! so excited, we're going to check out the aztech pyramids and go hiking etc!

1. How many pieces of luggage do you own? 3 - a big rolling duffel, a small rolling duffel, and a good old-fashioned regular suitcase.

2. Name three of the items on your "Must Pack" list: LOTS of underwear, books, and a notebook.

3. What's the craziest thing you've done while travelling? Walked two miles through Bristol (England) with 9 other people to get to an awesome bar on the water, led by a local kid who we'd met 5 minutes prior. How we knew he wasn't leading us to an empty warehouse where we'd be hacked to bits, I do not know. But he was totally right about how epic the bar was.

4. Describe your last trip: My last trip was down to the Jersey shore back in July. It was hot and sticky and we only stayed 2 nights but it was so much fun. We laid out on the beach, went to the amusement park and ate waffles and ice cream. 

5. Upcoming plans? Fantasies?:  If the money is in our favor, BF and I will be flying to Portland, Oregon to see his sister for Christmas. If not, our next trip will be in February to St. Lucia for his sister's wedding. I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED FOR THAT!!!

2. Name three of the items on your "Must Pack" list: lots of socks, mp3 player, camera

3. What's the craziest thing you've done while travelling? Hmm probably when I went on a cruise and got seasick so bad that even Dramamine did nothing. A woman down the hall said she was an ER nurse and gave me some random pill that I had no idea what it was. But it made me feel better!

4. Describe your last trip: My last trip was to Baltimore / D.C. The highlight of Baltimore was definitely the food: crabs, crab cakes, and some cannolis from a mom and pop place in Little Italy!

5. Upcoming plans? Fantasies?:  I'm meeting my bf in Singapore this Christmas, then spending two weeks in the islands in Thailand. (He's traveling in SE Asia for a few months.) After I finish grad school, we plan to take a year off and do Europe and South America.

bsidebella, St. Lucia is gorgeous!! If you get the chance there's a beautiful beach between the Pitons.

1. How many pieces of luggage do you own?

One medium rolling duffel bag contraption that my mom bought me the Christmas before I studied abroad. My Sweeney Todd tote bag acts as my carry on.

2. Name three of the items on your "Must Pack" list:

Camera, book or books depending on the trip, and my own pillow. 

3. What's the craziest thing you've done while travelling?

Spent 100 Euros at the Kiliani Fair in Würzburg. BF and I agree hands down that it was the most fun we ever had. We did what ever we wanted to do (went on rides, played games, ate yummy German food) and that's not something that we would usually do. We also took a taxi back to our "dorm" instead of walking the 20-30 minutes back from downtown as we had done previous nights we were out after the buses stopped.

4. Describe your last trip:

Last trip was to Topsail Beach in NC. It was a lazy vacation. I read three books and watched six movies (one each night we were there). I loved being right on the beach but it was a little too lazy for me. There wasn't much to see or do. Not that there would have been much time for sightseeing since BF spent the majority of the trip studying.

5. Upcoming plans? Fantasies?

Disney August 2011! So excited. Space Mountain will be opened (last time we went they were revamping it) and Captain Eo is back at Epcot! A fantasy/goal of mine is to visit all the Disneylands in the world.

Too many to count--currently using the largest one which is way too big to store my summer clothes in...

2. Name three of the items on your "Must Pack" list:
The obvious necessities: Toothbrush/paste, deodorant, and underwear!  After 2.5 years of frequent work travel, I've got the packing light thing nailed

3. What's the craziest thing you've done while travelling?
Met BF @ Oktoberfest...

4. Describe your last trip:
For business--in Frankfurt, Germany...:(
For pleasure--a few weeks ago to Ireland, weather was gorgeous.  Sun every day, lots of nice walks by the ocean, and plenty of relaxation.  The week was wrapped up with one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever been to.

5. Upcoming plans? Fantasies?
Christmas trip to the US...which includes a week in Jamaica and a couple days in Key West.  Can't Wait.
My fantasy would be to go back to South Africa, especially the winelands outside of Cape Town.

Umm...I think 6. 2 roller suitcases, a duffle bag, 2 backpacks in different sizes and a carry on.

2. Name three of the items on your "Must Pack" list:

After travelling for 4 months I know you can buy basically everything you need quickly. So, my must packs are things you need quickly. Quick dry underwear so you can quickly do laundry, basic meds like benadryl, advil and stuff specific to you. After using a Vietnamese to English dictionary and having to point to things in a glass case in Vietnam I know those basics are really useful. And, ear plugs.

3. What's the craziest thing you've done while travelling?

Canyoning (climbing down waterfalls on ropes) in Vietnam,  sky diving in New Zealand or hiking in the rainforest in Malaysia. Different levels of fear associated with each of those.

4. Describe your last trip:

Family related - To California
Pleasure related - To New York City
Pleasure related by air - Round the world trip for 4 months

5. Upcoming plans? Fantasies?

Pleasure related by plane - Going to Spain on Sunday!
Family related - Going to California in October. I'm hoping to go wine tasting in Temescula.

Those are the actual plans, BF and I are planning to go to Europe someday but the list is currently too long to decide where to go.

1. How many pieces of luggage do you own?
One big piece and one carry-on but I usually use my big lululemon bag for a carry-on instead

2. Name three of the items on your "Must Pack" list:
Sunscreen, book, ipod (outside of the usual toothbrush, shampoo etc.)

3. What's the craziest thing you've done while travelling?
I don't know... my favourite crazy thing was going out to a nightclub in Florence, Italy! So much fun!

4. Describe your last trip:
Matt and I went to the Dominican for a wedding.  It was crazy, there were 50+ of us (between the ages of 25-32) and we all grew up in the same small town.  Great trip!

5. Upcoming plans? Fantasies?
We'll probably do a last minute trip south this weekend but not sure where. 
My dream honeymoon trip is a Mediterranean cruise!

1. How many pieces of luggage do you own?
Two black carry on sized flight crew suitcases.  One I use for work and the other is a back up just in case!

2. Name three of the items on your "Must Pack" list:
A.  Band Aids
B.  Double sided tape
C.  Extra underwear

LOL Can you tell I am on the road too much when my "must haves" are practical things??

3. What's the craziest thing you've done while travelling?
Too many things to mention.  We crash a lot of parties at hotels on overnights.  Exciting life...sure lol.

4. Describe your last trip:
20 flights in 4 days...YAY!!!  Had exciting overnights in placs like IA and WI...

5. Upcoming plans? Fantasies?
Re-current training in a few weeks.  Hopefully BF and I will be able to take a jog down to the Keys or something for a beach day.
