So I went dress shopping today!  SQEEE it was fun!  I felt like a princess!  I not in love with anything but I thought you girls would like to see!    Sorry I thought I was going to get them to just show up but it didn't happen so you are going to have to click on or paste each link sorry!!

I really like the fabric at the waist.  And the Brocaded top.

It is kinda plain, but then again plain dresses give you a lot more room to play with accessories.  Did you try on any headpieces or anything when you tried on these dresses?  You may find that something that feels just a little too plain at first will look just perfect once you're "jacked up" (stolen from SYTTD Atlanta).

I also really like dress 4 in the picture where you're facing the camera. I love the top half of it mostly, but the whole thing is very pretty.

No I didn't  I only had an hour and I am not really an accessory person.  Not that I couldn't do that but I would know how.  :(  I kind of suck at being a girl. lol

I was able to click on the links.  I agree with Elle 2 and 7.  I like the cut of the shirt and bodice of #2 its asymmetrical.  #7 looks great on you, like Elle said you have a clean palette to play with accessories.  But then I'm also a simple bride, not too much poof, bling or fabric for me.

I like 7 the best, then 5. They all look great on you! Though I have to say the black straps threw me off... it took me a couple pictures to figure out what they were.

It is simple, but to me simple is not the same as plain. I don't think it's plain. My way of judging wedding dresses is to imagine how the dress would look in a different color (black, red, navy, whatever). Would it still be beautiful and chic or would it look like a high school prom dress? I think 7 would still be a beautiful dress in another color.

That is a good point.  I just used plain because that is the word my mom used.  I liked it more then she did :)  So yes it is simple but pretty.

I like #5 the best.

I'm going against the grain and saying I wasn't a fan of #7. Maybe it was just too big, but it looked blocky. I might like it better without the straps.

I love number 7! So pretty.  The only thing about it that I'm not super duper crazy about is the bottom. It looks giant to me. Probably since the top and waist is so fitted, and then i'ts not.

I'll ditto PP's who love #7, but I understand if you want something a little more blingy! That shape is great on you. It feels/looks like a wedding dress without all the poof!

That's what inspiration pictures are for!  Accessorizing can be hard, but I think a pair of big earrings and a bracelet, plus whatever kind of headpiece you like, would really make that dress pop.

I also agree with Ana that there's a difference between "plain" and "simple".  I shouldn't have said "plain" earlier.  That sounds too negative.

Number 7 is my favorite. I really dislike dropped waists, and it seems like pretty much every other dress you tried on had a dropped waist or was too big and poufy for my tastes.

Number 7 is the only one that made me say "ooooh."
