Ok, since WR DIY was requested earlier this week, I finally had a chance to work on some of it and get a few pictures. Not all of this is DIY, but it's all wedding related...our gifts and favors. No gift for my parents yet - a friend of ours showed my mom the picture flip book her recently married daughter had given her for Christmas and my mom went crazy over it - so FI & I have decided after the wedding that we'll surprise my parents with one of those books.
I already posted these, but I'll do it again - these are the necklaces and earrings a friend helped me make for my bridesmaids - I also have tiny little angel bears and butterfly emery boards for them.
Here are the groomsmen's gifts - FI wanted to get them flasks and when we saw these, he said they were perfect (and score - they were only $5 each)
Here are the ring bearer gifts - it's my 5 1/2 year old nephew
and the flower girl gifts - she's the 4 1/2 year old daughter of one of my BM's (oh and the beads for both of them are for the rehearsal dinner - I'm going to make cardstock "badges" for the bridal party to wear and thought the kids would like to wear them on beads instead)
and here are our favors...the silver circle seals are going to be put on top of Reecee's Peanut Butter Cups (FI's favorite candy) which will be set at each place setting and next to it will be a blue, red or white mini muffin cup filled with m&m's (my favorite candy). Then each will also get the mint card - we're playing with the bow still, think I need to make it longer (hard to see in this picture, but it says "Thanks for sharing in our excite-mint. It mint so much to us. Angie & Joe March 5,2011")
