So, BF and I got our new iPhones in the mail yesterday!

Those of you who have one-what are your favorite apps? I also need a case...any suggestions?

Anything else I should know?

I used to have an iPhone, switched to a Driod, HTC Thunderbolt kicks butt.  Anyways when I had an iPhone I liked epicurious, Allrecipe, imapmyrun (if you need to track your running or even biking), pandora, mint.com, 24 hour fitness, living social calorie counter, cat physics. I think I had The Knot app as well.

I had an awesome Kate spade case that saved it from many drops. I recommend a cas that covers the whole phone. If you drop it the right way, you'll end up shattering the extort phone. My back looks like a spider web when I take the case off. Everyone said the apps I frequent. Mint is awesome as well as words with friends. If you frequent Starbucks, their mobile card app is great.

Oh I defintely echo MLekathLEEN, get a case that covers.  I've seen some knarly screen spider web cracks from the smallest drops.

I buy cases on eBay because cases in stores are ridiculously over priced. I also highly recommend a screen protector. I got one that's pretty thick, but clear, and I toss my phone in my purse with my keys all the time. I've had my phone for over a year with no scratches.

Thanks everyone! I downloaded some of the free ones last night, and I'm already loving epicurious and allrecipes. I'm also hoping having Weight Watchers on my phone will get my butt in gear a little bit on that front.

I'll definitely be downloady Words with Friends...a couple of my IRL friends are obsessed. I'll come back and let you all know my user name.

I didn't even know they made cases with screen protectors...that's awesome-I scratch everything that goes in my purse. Anyone else mind showing me their case? I want to try to get something somewhat cute

I don't remember who made the screen protector, but it was $10 for a 2-pack at my local electronics store.

If you have comcast, I suggest the xfinity app. They have it now where you can watch most of the ondemand shows on your phone but you have to have wifi. If you have hbo, they have an app that has tons of shows too and no need for wifi. I'll show my case when I get to a computer.
