I am a Christian and my fiance is an atheist. He was happy to compromise with me on a church wedding, because it has been something that was really important to me. My pastor is more than just my pastor, he's a dear family friend.
Sadly, I just found out my pastor cannot officiate my wedding due to a contract with the church (can't if one or both of the parties are not Christian). Now I have no idea how to have a wedding ceremony, or where, without a church.
We want groomsmen and bridesmaids, and I really don't want to just show up at the court house. How (and where) do you arrange a secular wedding?
