registry question

How do you tell people where you are registered? Ours is a little more complicated so it takes some explaining, do I really need to talk to each individual person to give them the info?

Re: registry question

  • If they ask you (or your parents, friends, etc) where you are registered, then you can tell them. Othwise you don't mention it at all.  If you have a shower, then you can include the information with the shower invitations, but not the wedding invitations.  If they don't ask, they will figure something out.

Out of true curiosity, how is it more complicated?
  • Ditto PP. How is your registry complicated?

You can put a tab on your wedding website that just lists your registries; also you can spread by word of mouth if people ask you.

  • Okay, word of mouth it shall be. And we are registered through our own personal business website so its just a little more complicated than say a Kohls registry or Target, like needing to give people a username password to login the like.
  • If you need a login and password I would expect that inevitably people are going to have trouble with it.  If you want people to use it then definitely make a wedding website and put the login information there.

I think that sounds too complicated. I always just do a registry google search to find where someone is registered.  If I had to get a username and password, I'd be kinda annoyed. But if you prefer cash, this is one way to ensure it.
