    Danielle, I completely understand about the grandfather thing!

    My Poppa died 3 days before my birthday and my grandmother originally was going to have the wake on his brother's 70th birthday and the funeral on mine... thankfully, she didn't.  But the funeral was only 2 days after my birthday and I spent my birthday travelling into town and organizing photos for his wake.  My Grandpa died 6 days before my sister's birthday this year, and his funeral was 2 days before it.

    My sister and I have said that our grandfathers picked worse than usual times to pass away.
