We made it through another work week! What is everyone up to today / this weekend?

I think I missed the memo on today being "skip work day"...there are only two other people in my office of 20. Wtf?

Tomorrow night is a big wine tasting event through my grad school. It's at the aquarium and is always super fun

That wine tasting event sounds fun! I still haven't been to the acquarium here yet.  

We going to a big Cinco party at some friends house. It's unofficially called "Meatfest 2K12" which sounds dirtier than it is. We apologize to all vegetarians b/c there will lots of carnivorous eating!

Tomorrow morning before the party I'm running a 5K. Sunday, Fi and I are hanging out with my parents. Kind of busy, but fun weekend!

Have fun at the wine tasting, I love those types of events but BF doesn't drink. 
 I have more performances of my show this weekend, which should be fun.  We are almost sold out again this weekend.  No other plans really.  I may go out after the show Saturday to catch up with some friends for Cinqo de Mayo. 

We are being fed mexican food at work today. Yum.

I think I am doing homework and wedding stuff all weekend.  And we are having dinner with our favorite monk.    YAYA I can't wait.

We're going to see a Pink Floyd laser show at the planetarium tonight. :-D I work tomorrow, so we aren't making a big night of it, but I'm still pumped. They're doing "The Wall" tonight and "Dark Side of the Moon" next week.

Gah, TK ate my post.

H's parents are staying with us for the weekend.  His dad just got a job up here, so they will be house hunting.  We also have a Cinco de Mayo/Graduation party to go to tomorrow, but we probably won't stay too long.

In other news, H and I finally decided where we are going for our next vacation:  Roatan!  I'm so excited, it's supposed to have some of the best diving in the world.  I wanted to go for our anniversary in November, but that's their rainiest month, so I think we are going to go in September instead and then just do a weekend trip to Sedona or something for our actual anniversary.

Wow Roatan sounds awesome.. never been that way but I always wanted to.  Friends stopped there on a cruise and loved it.

jemmini, I am having some serious travel envy here.

I'm going to a friend's afternoon tea birthday party, complete with croquet.  If the weather holds out on Sunday, a long walk with the fella is in order.

Nothing really planned for this weekend.  Just relaxing and drinking lots of margaritas!

Yes.  We are actually both going to start classes soon to get our Rescue Diver cert, so we should have that before we go too.

Jemmini - we went to Roatan during a cruise and really enjoyd it. It's very very green. We did a little snorkeling, but I heard the diving is amazing.

DH and I are doing a sprint triathlon tomorrow and several other friends are doing it as well. Then we'll come home, take naps, and start celebrating our Mexican heritage... oh wait, what? Anyway, we have nothing planned for Sunday, which is glorious.

I did snorkeling for the first time in March when we were down in the Bahamas, may be next year I can get him to take me diving.  It's on my life's to do list....

Sounds like some of you have some fun weekend plans!

I'm going to high tea tomorrow at a castle with Lunar and her meet-up group. There should be about 20 of us...and i'm really looking forward to it. Then BF and I are going to get a 90 minute couple's massage that evening.

Sunday I'll be cleaning the house up...because my mom and brother get into town on Wednesday!!! I'm so excited!

jemmini- Cool! FI really wants me to get certified but I am absolutely terrified of diving. I did a practice thing in a pool when we were in Thailand and it scared the living daylights out of me.

allusive- Yay for massages!! Do you get them a lot? I've always wanted to get one and I think the wedding stress just might push me to try it.

I'm seeing "The Avengers" again tonight, this time NOT in 3D. I actually watched a majority of the movie last night without my 3D glasses and even though the film was a bit blurry in places, it was way more enjoyable. 

On Sunday, I'm having a girly day with my BP. There's a huge mall in NY that we're going to for the afternoon. We're going out to lunch, do some shopping, maybe get pedicures. It's the first time all 5 of us will be hanging out without doing anything wedding related. We're just going to be girly and bond

My BF and I want to see this! They had it at our science museum before but I never saw it.

Tomorrow I'm going to get my outline for my half sleeve which I'm excited about and Sunday I'm getting my hair cut and colored which I desperately need!
