Has anyone found any of these wedding planning books useful?
Someone gave me a gift card to a book store that i dont live close to so i have been looking online and i came across wedding books. But a lot of the reviews say that you can get most of the info onlne for free.

If oyuhave bought one of these books before and you love it please share what book it is and why you love it!

    Ditto Mindy Weiss' book. I never actually bought it, but I did check it out from my local library and photocopied pages that were of interest to me. Some are better than others, but hers is definitely the most complete book I came across. There were a few other good ones, but I can't remember the names of them now, its been too long.

    I got the organizer they had on exclusivelyweddings.com and LOVE it. its great and so easy when I want to look at things rather then pull them up online.

    I too got a book.  Its helpful- I like the worksheets with questions to take with you when you talk to venues- but yes you can find a lot of that on here or other sites.  The best part about it is for the organization ( I got a file folder/ book combo)  its really nice to keep everything together and organzied.

    That's her organizer which is a piece of crap. Seriously.  My mom bought it for me right after we got engaged and it was horrible.  There were glue stains and it was already falling apart.  We returned it the next day.

    If you haven't done this yet - go through the checklist on this site.  It's good for giving you the "to do" list in a timeline format.  (something my planning binder was missing...)

    I also bought a smaller version of the full size binder, the theory was that you'd use it while you were checking out all of your vendors.  I found it to be incomplete and a waste.  My 10 year old neice has it now and calls me weekly to check in since she's the "Junior Wedding Planner".

    Well i ordered the mindy weiss book with my gift card! thank you ladies for the advice. Ill keep you all updated on how well i like the book :)
