So its Thanksgiving...

What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful to be here and being able to function. I had the gastric bypass about 3 years ago and had some serious complications from it. My body completely depleted itself of Thiamin (Vitamin B1). And in turn that caused a severe case of Wernicke's Encephalopathy. I couldn't walk at all and had to learn how to do everything by myself all over again.

So long story short I'm seriously thankful just to be here.

</div><div>It's corny and cliche, but I'm thankful for my fiance. I don't known what I would do without him. He's been my rock while imve dealt with school issues and health issues. I can't wait to marry him and start our life together!

[QUOTE]I saw my oncologist Monday, and after three years, there are no obvious recurring signs of breast cancer.  My daughter is pregnant, and I get to see the baby!

</div><div>This makes me very thankful for you.  You will adore being a grandmother and having great news from the doctor makes it that much better.  Congratulations.

In 2012 my family has faced cancer, a heart attack and homelessness twice (once for a fire and once for Sandy). I'm just thankful that we're all still here to celebrate Thanksgiving.

My friends, family, fur baby and fiancé. And also, after all the homeless people I saw today, it makes me even more thankful for the roof over my head and a secure job.

I had to work yesterday for Thanksgiving and on top of that, my time of the month had started and I wasnt having a very good day. My fiance stop by my work to drop off some feminine products (which he went to the store to purchase) with a bouquet of flowers to cheer me up.

I am thankful for my fiance!
