I'm so seldom the first one here, I usually miss the morning post. Success! How was everyone's weekend? My FI was away for a few days and came back last night  so I'm in a pretty fantastic mood this morning :)

    Our weekend was really nice :) The weather was beautiful, as it'll be throughout the week (high 70s). We're trying to wrangle the hill in our backyard under control and de-weed it. That's been a lot of fun as we hadn't touched it in 2 years so some of the roots are pretty deep.

    We're going to re-mulch said hill, but I underestimated how much mulch we'd need and now I'm peeved at myself because it'll be around 3-400 bucks because we need about 20 cubic yards. *eye roll

    We're trying to think of what we can do on the hill instead of mulching to both save money and get more use out of it. We'd LOVE to get a patio built, but that would require a small retaining wall. Since neither of us has any idea how to do that, we're probably looking at at least 1k for that, so the patio idea is on hold.

    Our wins for this weekend is that we got two large rain barrels for half off and they're kind of cute so we don't have to camouflage them into the surroundings. We also bought new curtains for our dining room which has made the room look soo much larger. I love them :)

    And now I'm watching tv and waiting for a fever to pass that is coming from my stupid wisdom tooth. Later I'll be weed pulling again. yay! :)

    I had a lazy weekend with fiance, which was awesome.  On Saturday I officially picked my dress, and went to the dress store to try on a model of it with my FSIL.  Now I just have some errands to run and need to keep working on my homework (got a few more pages done on my term paper over the weekend).

    I did a lot of wedding stuff while fi was working Saturday morning, some of the more minor details, and found out the shoes i bought are going to suck to wear all day so tried to go shoe shopping....did i mention i hate shoe shopping???

    Other than that it was a pretty quite weekend, went to a reception for Fi's niece who got married sometime in February, and no one was invited to the wedding...long story, but was able to dance with my FFIL, gave me an idea of what to expect at our wedding reception :)

    Morning, and it's been a busy one. This weekend was OK, on Saturday I had a facial and then went to a coworker's baby shower. I also placed an order for 45lbs of corned beef from the butcher for the party coming up next weekend.  Sunday I lounged around and cooked my favorite dinner so that was good. This morning I came into work to a general crazy mess that's been going on for a few weeks now, it's pretty serious and everyone is looking for someone to blame :/ Oh well, only five more days until the weekend :/
