Need Advice... Cousins want to be in wedding

My 9 yr old cousin is going to be my flower girl but my other 2 girl cousins (12&13yrs old) wants to have a responsibility at the wedding. I originally told them that they could pass out our ceremony pamphlets but I have decided not to do pamphlets. I also do not want  jr. bridesmaids! Any ideas of what they could do would be great! Thanks

They can be bridesmaids or ushers, read, sing or play an instrument.  If you're having a religous ceremony, you can have them play a roll in that (like bringing up communion in a catholic mass.)  Other than that, you're down to guest.  No is not a dirty word.
  • MY question do you want them in the wedding. You could have them do a reading or play an instrument or sing a song if they have that talent. Otherwise just let them be guests. Please do not make them pass out programs, guestbook attendant punch poureretc, those are not honors their a job.
  • My little sister and I were their age when my older sister got married and we lit candles for the ceremony just before parents were seated and wedding party walked out.  It gave us something without having to do Jr. BMs.  She had 2 stands with a few candles on each - we were so proud! haha
