twiddling my thumbs! :)

Hi ladies!

So I am just under 6 months and I have so much done, I feel like at this point I am just sitting around twiddling my thumbs waiting for us to be closer!  Is anyone else in this holding pattern? I am anxious to get more done but really can't do anything else at this point!  I need to fast forward through time!

Yeah, I definitely hit that point a couple of times.  A wedding really isn't all that complicated, once you've got your major vendors booked, there isn't much to do until it's time for invitations to go out.  Try doing some of the things you enjoyed doing before you got engaged, and don't worry about the wedding for a while.

I agree with aerin! Use this time to keep the romance going in your relationship, to spend time with single friends, or just enjoy the relaxation! It soooo won't last.

I hit that point last month.  It felt soooo bizarre.  That tiime is now over though, haha.  Enjoy it while it lasts.

Our invitations are ordered, everything is booked, STDs went out a few months ago, honeymoon booked, flights booked, hotel room for night of wedding booked, BM dresses ordered, I've had my dress since last December!  FI wants to write his own vows, I'm not so sure I want to...that's something we have to figure out!  We are doing dance lessons once a week for our first dance and a couple of other songs during the night which makes such a nice date night for us.  We do need a few weeks without talking about the wedding though...I feel like once it's over we'll have nothing to talk about anymore!  What did we do before we were engaged???
