Help with colors please!

Hey girls!

I'm pretty sure I am going with deep plum for my bridesmaid dresses, and I was going to accent with gold because the chavare chairs and chargers will both be gold, but I was wondering if any of you had an idea for a third color? 

Any suggestions will help. Thank you!

    Do you need a third color? I love the look of plum and gold by themselves. If you have your heart set on a third color I've seen some weddings where they add red in with those colors? If not you can always go with a neutral color...

    If you really need a third color, I would just do white or ivory.  Chances are you'll be using it a lot anyway.

    Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

    I'd go with ivory.  And you do know that your colors don't have to match your chairs, right?  If you're using gold because you love the color gold paired with purple, great.

    If you're doing it so the colors will coordinate with the chairs......completely unneccessary.
