Save the Date question!

Hi all   silly question!
So, I have my save the date's ready to be mailed out, I just need to do the "to" address. I had planned on using my Word program to type out labels. However, my mom and one of my bridesmaids said that handwriting them out would be more personal. I never really thought about it. I had planned on hiring a caligrapher for the actual formal invites. It would definetely be easier to write them out then to type each one and label them. Anyway- was just wondering if anyone had an opinon? Thanks!

For my save the dates, unfortunately I had the lovely task of writing all of the "to'' out by hand lol. However, I do agree that it is more personal and your guests will most likely feel the same. Hope this helps.

I agree that even for the STDs you should hand write the addresses. If your handwriting is terrible, just do a few at a time so you don't get sloppy. If you're good with a printer, you can print in a light grey font directly on the envelopes and the trace over them.

I handwrote all of the STDs.  It wasn't to bad and I agree it is more personal.

FI and I hand-addressed all of our Save-the-Dates.  It really didn't take long doing it together (we only had about 55 to do though).  Hand-write them if you can.

Again, thanks for the help! I'm almost half way thru addressing them. Also, never taunted her and that was months ago. I had a wedding question, no need to dwell on the past.
