First off I just have to say I'm super excited! I just booked my boudoir photos for 10/1. I've been in love with the idea of doing these for FI even before we got engaged. I finally found a photographer in my budget who I'm comfortable with - it took a while.
Okay so the background for the surprise.
My FI is a real homebody.
The photographer I booked doesn’t use her home, she will come to yours or a hotel room.
I knew my FI would wonder what was up if I asked him to leave for a few hours on a Saturday.
I really want these pictures to be a surprise on the wedding day so
I had decided to book a hotel room.
Sudden idea on Wednesday – book a B&B instead of a hotel.
I spent a lot of time yesterday finding a B&B I liked that would let me book for just one night instead of a whole weekend.
It’s beautiful and it’s only $60 more than the hotel room I was going to book.
Well then I really got to thinking.
(It’s kind of scary how much thinking this led to!)
I don’t want to spend money on a beautiful room and only use it for a few hours for pictures.
Plus I'll have my hair and make-up done, why waste that. 
New surprise for FI is to do a romantic dinner and then stay the night at the B&B.
It’ll be 3 months before the wedding and I thought it would be a nice pre-honeymoon.
I just want time to focus on us, no wedding talk.
And the whole point of the post - I need help in how to get him there and not spoil the surprise.
Also I was thinking about possibly scheduling something to keep him busy during the afternoon while I get pictures done, maybe a massage since he’s been stressed with work a lot lately. Any ideas would be more than welcome.
