engagement anniversary gift?

Hi! Today is my one year engagement anniversary and I never really thought about getting FI a gift, but feel like I should do something? Any suggestions for something a little sentimenal or meaningful?? Christmas has stolen all of my creativity! Thanks!!

I agree with PP, I did not get my FI anything when our one year engagement anniversary came.  We just simply acknowledged the day and said how much we cant wait for the next 6 months to fly by until our january wedding!!! Thats really all you need

If you really want to get him something, just get a card and explain your feelings to him or something. As Milkduds said, not every occassion has to equal gifts.

I'm not even 100% sure of our engagement date.  It was Dec 20, 21, or 22, I think.

We had an 11 month engagement, so our engagement anniversary is December 24. Seems pretty silly to celebrate that when we are already married. I think we may just have a toast to one another at dinner and remember the event. No gifts or anything.

You could do something cute like and customized ornaments, I know they have a kiosk at my local mall where you can have the names hand written on and such. But then again my go to gift when i'm not sure is an ornament.


They look like this but they have usually have tons of different options. And then its also something you both can have an a cute keepsake

I don't understand celebrating engagement anniversaries.  I don't even like Valentines Day just for the fact that your suppose to buy candy/cards.  My fiance thinks he got lucky! 

We did celebrate when our rings came in and went out to dinner.  And I'm sure after we are married our anniversary will be celebrated with a dinner, not gifts.
