HiIve just booked Little Chapel of the Flowers for October 2010, and i'm really excited.This is my 1st post, so please be gentle :)A bit about myself. I'm from U.K he is from Ireland. We live in Ireland. We are not engaged yet, but doing everything backwards and have booked the wedding.Havnt looked at anything else regarding the wedding, but this website looks really helpful.

We will probably get engaged, but really would prefer to pay for the wedding rather than think about an engagement ring.We havnt booked flight s or hotel yet, as the schedules are not out yet. We were thinking of staying at the Signature though.Have started looking at beuty places that come to hotel, but really havnt found anywhere i like yet.I am 30 he is 32. We have live together for 6 years, and i cant believe i am finally getting him down the aisle!!!!!

Snoopy, I think you can be engaged without a ring. I know plenty of people who do/are doing this right now. Hope it goes great. BTW, I also know someone who picked out her wedding date before getting engaged to make her now husband propose sooner....not saying you are like this, just pointing out that I know other people who do wedding planning backwards.

Things have to be done slowly with my boyfriend (ha ha). For the last 5 years everytime i mentioned marriage he went a very pale shade. This year we started talking about it and have finally booked it.We always said we would have a short engagement so i reckon we will do it at christmas. We havnt told any family yet that we are getting married (might be opposotion from his family) but we are going to tell them when everything is booked.

Congrads on booking the chapel. Who really cares if your FI hasn't said marry me you both agree that it time to do it, so there you go. I know why do men get that pale look when wedding talk comes up? LOL
