Shower wording... HELP!

Do you have any ideas on how I should word the "Couples Shower" invites? Honestly I don’t even like the term “couples shower” and I don’t want it to be all about couples, there are a lot of single people that mean a lot to us and we want them to know we want them there just as much as everyone else.Do you have any other way of word it to sound better? This is what I have so far:YOU ARE INVITED TO FAMILY FRIENDLY COUPLES SHOWER IN HONOR OFTHE BRIDE+THE GROOMSATURDAY, DECEMBER 5TH 2:00 PM WEDDING CENTER 1985 WEDDING DRIVE WEDDING, USATIA!!!

Re: Shower wording... HELP!

  • Call it a co-ed or a jack and jill shower.
  • You can just not mention "couples" shower. My shower invite read, "Beacause you have shared in their lives... we invite to a bridal luncheon to honor of Kristen." You could leave out bridal if you want and add your groom's name. I think people will understand the shower if for the both of you and they'll know by the envelope who is invited from their household.
  • yeah, I wouldn't call it a "couples" shower unless you intend on inviting only couples. That title is unnecessary. I would go with Jack and Jill or something like that.

  • why not "wedding shower" I thought thats what they were always called? I think bridal shower is stupid because you are getting gifts for the both of you.
