black vs. white limo

My mom thinks that a wedding limo should be white, but the black one that the company has for the same price is a little newer and nicer.  Personally, I don't really care about the color.  Any opinions on this?

  • It wouldn't make one bit of difference to me.

  • It really didnt matter to us, we just wanted a ride big enough for all of us. And lets face it, it's not like you are in it for that long. Save the money.

  • We didn't even have a limo since it would of cost us a small fortune since our WP was so large. And our reception venue was only 10 minutes from the church.
  • My ex used to drive for a limo company.  During that time I got to ride in all shapes and sizes of limos.  They are nice the first couple of times but then the "coolness" of them wears off.  That being said, go with the one you like the best.  And if you can go check them out personally.  Some are better kept up than others and look nicer inside.

Also ask for references and call them.  See if the drivers show up on time, if there were any mechanical problems (you'd be amazed at how much can and does go wrong with a limo), how courteous was the driver, etc.
  • I Honestly couldn't care less about our limo color. Price means a lot more to me :) I'd personally go with the cheapest option that still fits in with what you want amenities and size-wise.

  • I don't think color makes a difference- I personally prefer white though.

  • This is one of those things that you can definitely overthink.  Not everything for a wedding has to be white.  And while the wedding industrial complex would have you believe that things like the color of limo are critical to the success of your wedding, the fact is, it's just not.

If you arrive in a white limo, at the end of your ceremony you'll be married.  If you arrive in a black limo, at the end of your ceremony you'll be married.  And isn't that what this is all about?

  • The color really doesn't matter. People wont notice and its probably not something you'll care about day of.

  • I would prefer white, but I would definitely pick the nicer one even if it were black.
  • I would prefer a black limo. But it's all personal preference and it doesn't really effect your day. Go for the nicer one if you're getting more for your money and the color doesn't matter to  you. :)
  • I personally would go for a black limo.  We aren't using any limos but if we did it'd be black--I think it's classier and would look nicer against the bridal gown and tuxes.  But would anyone else care?  Probably not.

  • I don't see how it makes one bit of difference.
  • Get the one you like best - which sounds like it's the black one. The colour makes zero difference.
