name change question

I got married back in September and had my last name change legally shortly after. I got everything cleared with the DMV, and my new license was issued months ago.  I got my registration renewal form in the mail a few days ago but my maiden name is on it, not my new married name.  Should I be concerned?  I was just going to cross it off and write my new name...

    Don't cross anything out without contacting them first.

    A lot of times the back of those things tells you what to do.  If not I find most states have online information on name changes with the DMV






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    I just found it strange since I have already changed it months ago with the DMV.  I have had my new license for months now.

    They probably changed your license but not your car registration. Our DMV won't do anything you don't tell them. "Oh you changed your name and want a new license? Okay." They wouldn't even think about suggesting changing your car registration too.

    I would call them and see how to go about doing it. Don't cross it out. Our car insurance (AAA) allows some simple DMV things to be done in their office like changing the name on the registration. Maybe that is an option.

    Call first.  If it needs to be renewed anyway, then it shouldn't be a big deal to get it changed.  But don't just cross it off yourself.

    Here in PA, you have to submit a name change form for your registration (and title) just like you would for your driver's license.
