e-pic makeup

I'm taking e-pics tomorrow and have a makeup question.

Did you all do your own makeup for your engagement photos or did you have it done somewhere?

Also, any tips for keeping it looking nice in the TX heat would be much appreciated

I'm not from TX but I did my own makeup and it turned out just fine. I just reapplied it a few times to keep it fresh. it wasn't very hot out when we did them though.

I just scheduled my makeup trial for the same day as our epics.

Bring an absorbant rag if it's one of those sweat-dripping-from-your-hairline days. And if you haven't already, invest in some of those oil-blotting sheets to try and keep things under control in between poses. They've always worked well for me. And maybe use a mineral powder foundation instead of liquid or cream, which tends to turn yucky on me when it's over 85 degrees out.

I did my own and it was fine. Just remember to check your lipstick every so often and maybe bring some blotting papers with you.

Oh, and don't use mineral powder makeup because the titanium dioxide reflects light and makes you look washed out. I know that mineral powder is more comfortable in the Tx summers, it will wash you out in the pictures.

I'll be doing my own makeup but I might get my hair done.  My bridal shower is the same day as my e-session so I may just have both hair and makeup done.

I'll probably do my own to see how it would look in pictures because I'm considering doing my own for the wedding. It's my trial run to test my skills. If anything it will look more natural, which is good because I am going for that look for my e-pics. Hair? Eh, I'll just wear it down and style it myself.
