My fiance and I are having an outdoor, non-religious ceremony. We really like the idea of having someone who knows us perform the ceremony. Did anyone go this route, and if so, were you happy with how things turned out? We have someone in mind who is very personable, funny, and comfortable in front of a big group of people. But he has no experience with weddings. Any advice would be appreciated!
