I would love to say I'm like Charlotte from Sex and the City, complete with how I adore 50's dresses, making meals and desserts for friends and families, and endlessly daydreaming about the perfect fairytale wedding.

...but instead, my friends tend to compare me to Lily from How I Met Your Mother. Being fun and quirky like her works, too! Doesn't help that FI and I are about the same size and look as Marshall and Lily...I'm afraid to know how big our babies will be.

Elizabeth Burke on While Collar.  I'm fairly independent with my own career, but I love hearing about FI's work.  FI also works long hours like Peter.

I am (though her character is known for her single-ness) a lot like Liz Lemon, to the point that my fi looks at me and laughs at least once per episode.  He is like a combination of Alton Brown and Michael Bluth....  smart, cute, goofy and well intentioned, even when he does something that makes me shake my head, like tell his best friend that his girlfriend (my old college roommate) won't be in my wedding party when he asked about it.   In front of all of us.  At a baseball game!  Lol.  It was awkward there for a few minutes, but his intentions were good, and the Mets won!

I would have to say Deborah from Everybody loves Raymond, becuase I have a child instead of a fiance and have very intrusive IN-LAWS!!!  But I love him and I sometimes need to be more laid back about things and not so controlling but the IN-LAWS I could live without but they're here and I just try to keep my distance see you when I see you. Crazy how my family is the opposite, they mind their own business and hardly come over, everyone is dealing with their day to day lives while his lives thru everyone elses. Oh well...
