Do you think its a scam too?

So I went to a bridal expo in springfield MA on sunday. Monday I get a call saying I won something, I call back becasue I filled out a few raffles for photographers and to win a cake. But this lady was from dinner4two which I did not rthink I filled out. She said I won a 3 day trip and wedding bands of my choice. I asked if there were any strings attached becasue when isnt there really? She said no, but to pick my things up I have to go watch a demonstration. I said so I have to buy something to get my prize? She says no its just a demonstration but Im really skeptical and probably not going. What do you guys think?

  • Hi All-

I just got "the call." The thing I, I DID enter when I saw them at a bridal fair. Me and the finace are going to their dinner tomorrow. We're not giong to buy anything, and as soon as I listened to the voicemail I said outloud, "too good to be true."

We'll see what happens. If nothing else, it's a cheap date night with dinner taken care of....hopefully.
  • I got a call from dinner 4 two last week telling me I won a prize package of a three night stay in a hotel and set of rings all I had to do was go to a named location to claim my prize. When I went we had to sit through a demo of their cookware and then we got a package with our prizes just as they said. They do try to sell you cookware while you are there but they are not pushy. The only cauch is the shipping on the tungsten rings is $25, but for a set of wedding rings thats no bad. There are over 20 to chose from. I gave the gift card for the rings away because our wedding is in two mounths and we already bought our rings. The tree day stay in a hotel is not a scam either you just have to give them 60 days notice to book. If you are will to sit through a 60min demo for your free iteams its worth it.
