WEDDING LOCATION HELP!!!

My fiance and I live in Texas; his family is still here and my family is in Florida. The problem we are having is where to wed. If we do it in TX, it will be difficult for everyone to make it (mostly due to funding) and vice versa for his family. Any ideas???

    Yes, you have the wedding where you want it and you invite your guests.  If they can't make it, they can't make it.

    You're not going to be able to please everyone, and you're not going to be able to accommodate everyone.  So you plan your wedding at the site that works best for you and your FI, and let the rest of it fall out as it will.

    We live in St thomas, My family mostly in DE, his family in NY.   We picked NJ because it was central for everyone.   People still complained, but yet our declinerate was not high at all.  So even after all the complaining, they still showed up.






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
