wedding colors

 my colors are Navy blue, a lighter purple (not to light though), and white. Something I read online said that these colors might blend to much. I could see if they were all pastel colors but where the blue is dark and the purple is a different shade with the white to kind of off set it, this should work right? lol has anyone seen these colors and did it look right ? Thanks in advance ladies

Those colors sound fine to me. I don't see how they would blend, since you have a dark and a light color.

i tried google and the all I got were blogs and forums that said this didn't go - maybe my wording in google wasn't right lol. The pics I saw on google seemed to work pretty well. I was starting to second guess myself but I need to stop doing that ! we'll never plan a wedding if I keep changing my mind because I second guess myself.

I could see if you used navy and a darker purple they would maybe blend, but since you are using lighter shade it sounds like a pretty contrast to me.  I googled navy and lavender and it looks great!
