Trash the dress??

So ladies, who did a TTD and what was it like? Did your dress get salvaged after? I want to do one but I am conflicted, I don't like the idea of destroying the dress, I'd rather donate it then destroy it but I also hear that after the shoot if you dry clean the dress is fine.

So did you? are you? show me!!

[QUOTE]I thought the purpose of the TTD was that the dress got trashed...meaning you couldn't use it anymore. Though, I guess it depends on exactly what you do to it, I would imagine that if it involves sand, water, food fights, or many of the popular TTD options, the dress will be...you know...trashed. Personally, I think it's kind of wasteful. I'd rather give my dress to charity, so someone can get some benefit from it, than get ONE photograph....

You get more than ONE photograph from it!

And I don't understand how people get so up in arms about TTD....some people keep the dress in a closet for years and never even look at it or use it. At least I have some amazing pictures for my kids to see!

I did it and I LOVED the pictures...

And I was still able to donate the dress!
