A Secular Chuppah.

I wish I'd heard of her before the wedding, it would have been perfect for the small Brooklyn ceremony we had...

Though chuppahs traditionally have a judaica aesthetic incorporating traditional ceremonial objects and imagery, many non jews are taking the basic form of the chuppah and making it secular. There is a contemporary designer, Andrea Cohen (Chuppah Studio) that is based in Brooklyn and is offering modern chuppahs and wedding canopies to both jewish and non jewish couples. The designs are clean, smart, and elegant, and inspired by trends in fashion, art and design.

  • Are you the vendor you mention? First post ever and you're talking about a vendor... seems fishy.

<div> It does seem a little fishy, but she does have favorites that don't look like they were picked at random. </div>
