Advice!!!

So i went to have a fitting last night and while i was there i over heard a girl looking for shoes and she seemed to be a little down that she couldn't find a cheap pair. I told the girl that I had a pair of mischka badgley for sale that i would sale her for 50 dollars. After doing alot of thinking I feel that i should just give her these shoes...2 reasons 1) My parents are helping me pay for my wedding and everything in it...This girl said her parents are having a hard time helping and 2) I'm never going to wear them they are just going to collect dust in the closet......I would really like someone else's input on this!!?!?!

Re: Advice!!!

  • I think that's incredibly nice of you.

  • I think your heart is in the right place, honestly, but I would think very hard about just giving them away to someone you don't know.

I don't trust anyone though, so there's that.
  • I think that's very nice of you, but personally, I would feel uncomfortable if some girl I didn't even know just gave me her shoes. It would make me feel like a charity case, and I know I would prefer to pay for them, even a small amount. But that's just me, maybe I'm over sensitive.
  • That's really sweet of you. I say sell them to her for $10 or $20- I basically agree with what Bakerie said.

That's true. Do it really cheap and then go buy yourself a latte and a scone to celebrate. :)
