Book Themed Wedding

My FI and I are huge readers and I am planning on becoming an English teacher as soon as I graduate college. We have just started planning and are considering having a slightly book themed wedding with the colors of Tiffany blur and chocolate brown. This is what we have to far:

Small book looking favor boxes
Author names instead of table numbers

Any other ideas without our wedding looking like you just walked into a library?

For your guest book, you could get (or make) a journal type book with weathered pages and put in a fancy bookmark...

If you want special cocktail napkins, you could find some that have newsprint on them at the craft store.  

Bookmarks attached to your favors

I love the author names as tables -- one summer I worked at a camp and the cabins in my zone were named after authors -- I was assigned to "Hemingway" cabin.  :-)

The big thing is to put it in little touches throughout, and not making anything BIG as a book theme.  Then, it still has that element, without being overwhelming.

You could incorporate fancy books into your centerpiece. Or use bookends.

I was going to suggest books under the center piece.. I like the book mark idea and naming your tables after your favorite authors.

I think this is a great theme for your wedding if you guys love books

It may not go with your level of formality for the wedding, but I think that bunting is an adorable way to decorate. You could use inexpensive vintage book pages to make, say, half of the triangles, then throw in some tiffany blue and chocolate fabric, solid or patterned, to give the bunting some color.

I saw a "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway" where the cake looked like a stack of books. It sounds awful, but it was actually super pretty.

My FI and I are big bibliophiles, so our readings at the ceremony are coming from 2 of our favorite books, rather than poems or bible readings And our Card Box is going to look like a stack of books, and I'm making it myself so I'm going to try to put copies of the covers of some of our favorite books on it (we couldn't afford the cake
