  • I usually make fudge...especially around Christmas time.  It doesn't take forever and is super delish.  Or I make cheesecake if I have extra time to spare (which is usually never).

  • That sounds delish Retread!  I hardly ever use Karo syrup, but I do love myself some pecan pie..... Must try this!

  • I usually make no bake fudge (so easy) but this year I'm trying a cheesecake cookie that I saw on food network's website.  we'll see how it turns out!
  • I made Baileys Irish Cream Puffs last week for a party.  Frosted Irish Cream brownies are delicious and easy and always a hit.  I have a wonderful recipe for a  buttermilk raspberry cake that's also good with whole cranberries.  Chocolate toffee giants are a more work-intensive cookie but they're amazing and I've won Christmas cookie contests with them.  I'm making baklava for a party tuesday.  Bourbon pecan tartlets are delicious too, though a little more labor intensive than a whole pie.  Lemon raspberry pie is easy and delicious.

  • My default is always blondies :)

  • White chocolate pepermint bark! Yummm! Just melt some white chocolate in a double broiler, put a bunch of pepermints in a baggie and break them into pieces, put the pieces of peppermints into the melted chocolate then pour into a greased cookie sheet. Put in freezer for 1 hour, then use the handle-end of a knife to break into pieces. Enjoy!
